Hi Nephi, For your information, Dimash's vocal range is 6 octaves (from E2 to D8) recently and his whistle register goes up to G#7 previously, but just a few days ago, he hit the note D8 (4500-4800hz) which is 6 key higher than G#7 and 2 key higher than 88 piano C8.... The whistle (C#8-D8) is trill one....Wow

Hi Nephi! Congrats on getting your new apt! I am not exactly sure with Dimash when it is he goes into his head voice. It sounds to me his chest range is wider than what it is for most humans! Apparently, just recently his voice was analyzed by some Chinese experts and they have determined he has a six octave range. There is even a question as to whether he is getting close to the point the human ear can not actually hear the upper range of his whistle notes! Perhaps the dolphins can? Regardless, whatever his range actually is, his abilities are spectacular in so many other ways as well....the texture of his voice, his intonation within all ranges, his control, his incredible ability performance-wise to connect emotionally with both the song and then communicate it to his audience. He really does have spectacular abilities! Thanks for doing another reaction and am looking forward to a few thousand more! By the way, after the 14 episodes of the Singer 2017 show, Dimash did his first ever solo concert called BASTAU, which drew 30,000 fans from all over the world to his native country. There are many excellent videos from Bastau to use as well. And as a musician yourself, you can hear the nuances between performances while listening to identical songs. This is not a Kazakh's song. It's Russian by Vitas. Hw sang so well Vitas issued legal letter to stop Dimash from singing this song ever again in public. It's too bad because he sings higher than Vitas. So you won't ever hear Dimash sing this song again.
