this song was written by Lara Fabian based on the gothic novel Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde published in 1866. The novella’s impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the phrase “Jekyll and Hyde” entering the vernacular to refer to people with an unpredictably dual nature: usually very good, but sometimes shockingly evil. In Freudian theory, the thoughts and desires banished to the unconscious mind motivate the behavior of the conscious mind. William...I had computer problems for the past month, and I missed the music on You Tube on which I feast. I especially missed your reactions and commentaries on the music I so dearly love.
