We Dears just enjoy your Dimash reactions and if you set up a couple of chairs in a full dumpster it'd be ok with us! 😂 On this Chinese show it was dictated to them if they needed to do a cover (mostly) or an original. But there are LOTS of originals, as stated by so many commenters. Have fun choosing from the list .... it won't be easy. 😄
He is singing since he was little in his native language, he did have some personal songs with success in Kazakhstan, the first that went beyond the borders was "Screaming". Most of his songs are in Kazakh or Russian but you can find some in English like "Be with Me" where he raps, "Screaming" etc. My personal favorite is" Love of Tired Swans", its in Russian but its a masterpiece which has also an epic, movie like official video. It would be great when you have time to react on it! ^^

The important thing about what dimash does goes far behind his vocals, though that is an amazing factor. The most important thing I've noticed is his desire to tell a story with each song. Yes I'm sure he wants to push his vocals and exceed his own expectations on what he delivers, but i think he is more motivated by the story and how it can move the audience.
I kept thinking he's 22, a Kazakh singing in front of hundreds of MILLIONS on Hunan tv ( this show is enormous in popularity) knocking their socks off, poised, and he's singing in English better than many people I know in front of a Chinese audience. Dimash is something special. In another realm. His voice is honed to perfection, but it's his delivery that captures us. He gives everything. He's free. Like Stevie Ray Vaughn. He is a person of depth and intelligence, unique childhood, and of virtuous a character as you're going to find anywhere among the human race. He's an ordinary human and Demi God put here for us. He's young and already has so much under his belt. I am a Dear through and through and I'm here to journey with him. Pit falls and zenith. It's a growth experience as well as musical ecstacy in many cases. The beauty and thrill of his voice is gold. Yes. I am addicted. One of my favorites is the singer 2012 adagio's cover of Adagio. His passion doing that song is beyond belief and I promise you you will not be disappointed absolutely amazing.

At first, I didn't think you like Dimash's voice or thought it might be auto tuned , but you truly seem to like Dimash now. Even close to being a Dear. Anyways, loved the reaction from you both and hope you continue and hope things at home get better. Stranger is an original composition from Igor , many song he sings are both original and covers. Usually, when he does a cover, it becomes a "New" original. The song SOS is what Dimash feels is his signature song. It's what got him launched.
This performance was about the third week of the I am Singer compin 2017. He had to learn this in one week. Dimash hardly spoke a word of English at this time. He is much improved now.

I honestly don't get the appeal of the Know Vocalise. For me it's one of the most boring things he's ever done. Luckily we all have different tastes though.

@@lianasokara3963 I wouldn't say most of his fans. I've got a number of friends in the fan groups and it doesn't appear to be a favourite with many of them. It's even been referred to as self indulgent. But as I said it's okay for everyone to have different tastes and we don't have to like everything he does.

Stranger is Dimash’s original song, composed for him by famous Russian billionaire composer/music mogul Igor Krutoy. Of late, Dimash doesn’t do many covers anymore, just the odd one, they are usually all originals now.

Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight.
