This is Dimash's second work in partnership with Dmytro Gordon and lyricist Candice Kelly (the first was “When I've Got You”): It is a more pop phase with the inclusion of traditional Kazakh instruments (in this case, the “dombra ” makes arpeggios similar to a guitar). Dimash has a very progressive work, free from commercial constraints. He tests and plays with his fans! The marketing for this song was bold and truly brilliant: Firstly, the song was released in a live performance at the Hong Kong show. Afterwards, a teaser for the official video with the song's chorus was released. From that point on, the chorus was already subliminally recorded in the spectators' minds! The complete song was released on the main platforms, making both the chorus and the operatic part sound more natural for reactors and fans. Dimash is or was a very strict Muslim. No smoking, drinking alcohol, no sex outside of marriage and on and on. He even said he was stepping outside his religious boundaries when he began drinking soft drinks. In this song, he said he is breaking free and flying, and i suspect that at least in part is breaking free of some of his former religious ways. Time will tell.
