Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone! The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable editing with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb! The music is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and dexterity and Dimash's agility! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen! The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign, which we let pass while still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who can break the fourth wall! A giant, masterful, modern work that makes you want to watch it several times! 1000 out of 10! Hugs from a Brazilian!
❤️🇲🇽💕❤️🇲🇽💕❤️🇲🇽💕
Thank you for your wonderful and respectful reaction to our beloved Dimash. 👍 I love an intelligent and insightful man😍 I love Dimash's english too. ❤ My Kazak and Russian speech still sits at absolute zero😖😂😂 I wonder how many of our North Americain vocal artists would do well if they had to compose and sing in other languages to be successful. I suspect not many😂😂😂🤔 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadain Dear🇨🇦
It was just a dream. Love how you appreciate Dimash. You’re right, his music and video’s are first class. This is my favorite video too and I can’t get the melody out of my head. Bev
Thank you. And yes, his English is so much better and he is speaking it too without needing an interpreter. I agree with you on how this furthers his impact. This song/composition and Dimash's vocal choices are stunning. The music video is of incredibly high quality. The story telling is excellent. I love how he is using his R&B/blues/soul influences that he has studied (probably when he was in L.A. last year). And now there's a new video coming out for 'Smoke' too! He put out an intriguing teaser.
I love you for supporting Dimash on your channel❤ You see his effort to learn/improve his English to bring more great music for us. A full movie with Dimash would break the internet! I'm just happy he does these mini movies for our entertainment. Blessings and peace to you and yours❤
His English has gotten really good, another year or two it will be perfect. He’s great with the other 12 languages tho, English is a hard for eastern naturalists.
Thank you for praising Dimash in his effort of improving his English speaking skills. A couple of weeks ago an individual was doing a reaction to this video and tore Dimash apart saying he doesn't like to hear Dimash singing in English because it's really bad. This comment really angered me. This reactor person was so disrespectful. No one should criticize anyone for trying to learn new languages for its a remarkable thing to accomplish. My comment to the reactor was, "You only speak one language and it's not close to being perfect. I rest me case." So thank you for supporting Dimash❣️ I truly enjoyed your reaction.
I taught English as a second language, and believe me, it is an extremely hard language to learn. Words spelled the same sound differently depending upon the meaning, and many combinations of letters like ough can be pronounced five ways! He does need a native English speaker coaching him on English songs. He has had people who learned English as a second or third language coaching him on pronunciation, and that is not a good thing. He probably now has a native English teacher coaching him now.
Thank you for the reaction, the video is bomb, Dimash is the best voice on the planet, everything came together - the highest talent of the performer, actors, production, music, super... Dimash is changing the world of music and us
Gracias de verdad por apoyar a Dimash a través de su carrera. Es el mejor del mundo para mi. Amo cada una de sus canciones. Espero con ansias más videorreacciones a nuestro Príncipe Kazajo
it's a strange thing - 5.8 thousand subscribers watched - only 1000 likes (did the bear step on the ears of others?)) or are they jealous?))) Dimash the best❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
No conozco ningún cantante que trate d cantar en 14 idiomas como lo ha hecho él! Me gustaría que solo lo intentarán y no lo lograrán, no pretenderán que lo haga como si hubiera nacido en otro país! Único!
You sure have grown up! I'm enjoying your comments more too but that's all part of it, right?😊 I'm 71 so this is like your grandma complimenting you.🧑🦳 I agree with you about the English. It makes no difference to me but it's important to others. If words are so important then English is still the languag of greater opportunities for Dimash. Thanks for the reaction to the great Dimash- just a superbly made video!👍👏👏👏👏👏🔥
You're hilarious Kellz. You had less hair and now Dimash has got more! Or maybe they were fake;hair extensions , like his fake 'claws'. Dimash is having fun with this, branching out creatively . Going to be interesting to see what he does next. What we do know is he will keep surprising us! 😍🤩
Would you consider reacting to an amazing independant vocalist and band from L.A. called City of Sound.❤ Try "But One Ghost" I am convinced that they will be a break out band in 2024. Vocalist is very talented, genre is unique, sort of symphonic old style 90's Rock. 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
I will surely miss his Dinglish. Yes, he learned the English language quite fast. The only remaining issue now is his pronunciation which, I wish his English teacher will do a better job.
