He had a complete failure of his in ear monitor. You see him tapping it to let his team know. Then he continues like nothing is wrong and performs perfectly. He is amazing.

He held his first concert in NYC in Dec 2019 and it has been his dream to be able to sing this particular song (which has a sad story behind it based on Kazakh history) with his international fans and let me tell you did we ever sing our hearts out with him! Fans from over 70 countries singing a song with him in Kazakh (at least we tried lol). The energy in the arena was electrifying! Only Dimash can make his fans learn songs in English, Kazakh, Russian, Mandarin, Italian and French because he is notorious for holding the mic towards us and asking us to sing with him xD I am really enjoying your reactions to Dimash!

This was a very emotional experience for Dimash to bring this Kazakh song to the people of the world. The song was originally a poem about a man who was persecuted and jailed by the government. He was wrongly told that his wife no longer wanted to see him and wrote this poem to her. Dimash performed the tragedy of this song so brilliantly and his emotion here is undeniable.

This was Dimash's first large scale concert where he sang to an audience of 30,000. This was just after his return from his breakout performances in China on the Singer. There were 100 other dombra players. Bastau=beginning. He sang for 2.5 hours in 4 different languages. I heard he won concert of the year in Kazakhstan. When Dimash returned from the Singer, the then President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan praised Dimash’s achievement at Singer 2017 in China and awarded Dimash the title of the Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan in December, 2019.

The multi- dimensional Dimash K. This is yet another masterful performance and presentation. Look at him. A Prince. Dimash has definitely put Kazakhstan on the map. One of my faves ...of the many. It's an orchestra that is on stage with him as well as his University musicians playing traditional Kazakh instruments. He is wearing a traditional Shapzan here ❤🇰🇿 Dimash was quite overcome with emotions, this was his first huge concert in his homeland and to sing this song to his people really got to him. Before thus concert he had so many nerves, he barely ate and lost an awful lot of weight so it meant so much to him that they liked his performances here. Also his ear monitors weren't working so he couldn't hear well, but he never waivers ❤

This is a folk song of Kazakhstan that Dimash absolutely loves and sings, if I'm not mistaken, at every one of his concerts. When he sang it on "The Singer" in 2017, he had the same Kazak orchestra come to China to accompany him. He loves his country so much and wants to showcase it every chance he gets. There 100 Kazaks playing the dombras on stage with him here.

There is something magical about him singing in his home language. ......his voice takes on a richness and passion that is even more evident to his other music.....love it. Elim Menin is one of my favourite Kazakh folk songs.

I absolutely agree with your comment stating that Dimash has a great stage presence and that it lasts for days. For me, it’s now lasted for years. LOL! 😅😁😄. Seriously, he does have both. His singing and his stage presence. Couldn’t of said it better. There’s just something about Dimash that that draws you to him. Actually, I think there’s a lot. He has a beautiful voice, stage presence, is handsome and kind and is quite charismatic too! 🤷🏻‍♀️ect!

I think they are both very emotional in their own way. 'Daybreak' is perhaps more dynamic and dramatic. But this 'Daididau' performance has something... Dimash is truly emotional, almost crying. It's so great to see all those emotions in his face. Very authentic and touching.

When you say it's not fair, remember, Dimash has been studying music since he was 4 or 5 years old all the way through his puberty and into manhood. He has earned every note. There are very few American singers who devote that kind of time to their singing. They want easy and quick. He wants a legacy and done as best as humanly possible. He has had marvelous teachers.

This was Dimash’s first large scale concert in Kazakhstan (his ‘Bastau’ concert which means beginning) after his appearance on The Singer competition. He was welcomed home a hero and he was very emotional, as you can see, to perform for 30,000 of his countrymen and fans from afar. He is 23 years old here and performing one of his signature Kazakh songs ‘Daididau’; Adai preceded this and featured 100 musicians playing the dombra, a traditional Kazakh instrument. A mesmerising performance. 🇦🇺

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!……Folklore song and is an appellation of a poem by Magzhan Zhumambayeba in honor of his wife Zelijha Daididau. Dimash is accompanied by great Kasajos musicians and they play the Dombra typical string instrument of Kazajistán and Dimash is an expert. His attire is typical of his country. look like prince. Yep, he's That good 😊! Btw, I've heard from a few, who were at that concert, that it wasn't only sweat on his face...Dimash was moved to tears. Hi there . Daididau is very special to DIMASH and his family.. it is a poem based on real story.. an important political prisoner was told his wife had left him, and this is his love letter to her . He calles her Daididau and says she is as beautiful as the 14th moon (14 days after the new moon is said to be when it is the fullest and most beautiful).. this, however was a lie, and he was executed before he learned the truth. . It was DIMASH dream to introduce the Kazakh culture to the world with Daididau, and his dream was realized in 2019 when a crowd represented by close to 80 countries sang Daididau with DIMASH at a sold out Barclays Center NYC..(you can find this concert in his RU-vid) This performance at Bastau 2017 was DIMASH first solo concert for his countrymen. The concert last close to 3 hours and has a set list of close to 30 songs.. DIMASH gives himself so completely to the stage, that his family worry because there is nothing left of DIMASH after the show .. Above all this immense talent, DIMASH is a very kind and humble soul .. it is worth knowing the artist, not just knowing his art .. I personally think every man child learns to play the Dombra in their Country. Dimash’s younger brother plays very well and has played with Dimash on stage. His ear pieces were not working so he sang the whole song with no tracks. He’s so amazing!! OMG! The one and only!! Just enjoy it. You’re very good too. I heard you singing and I liked it a lot! Did you notice that his right in-ear wasn't working as he looked at his crew and tapped it. Later at 5:40 he looked down at it with a frown and tried it again but took it out as it still wasn't working. With all this, he gave an outstanding performance.

Daididau is one of several songs Dimash does that honors his homeland in one way or another. Every one of those songs rises to an even higher level of performance and meaning than all of his other amazing songs. Others include Quiran Elim, Samaltau, Marigolds, Kazakhstan, and a few more. All are just superb.

For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhou Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went to the Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell", "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". Another singer that is highly rated is Hua Chenyu. Hua was performing on The Singer at the same time Dimash was being introduced to the world on that show. I have a recommendation list, but it is not really in any particular order. "Numchucks", "Child", I am what I am", "Fake Monk", "Friend", and "Dad, I'm Home". With the song, "Dad, I'm Home", it is one of the saddest songs developed. Mind you, Hua Chenyu is a very unique artist doing his own thing. You never really know what you are going to get with each of his songs. Neither Zhou Shen or Hua Chenyu are the full package that Dimash displays, but they are both unique and special with their skills.

I certainly have no issue with you promoting a singer, but to say that for those who love Dimash is not really a good thing. Every singer is different, every audience varies. Perhaps try not typing the same thing in every reaction. Might get noticed more. 😊

@@maykacha4987 Because there is so much information that I put into my posting, it is best to copy and paste. Out of hundreds of comment postings I have done, you are only the fourth person to say something like that. I fully support Dimash and still think he is the complete package. But, to deny that there are excellent singers to be heard is silly. In fact Dimash worked with both Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu in the past on The Singer show. He holds them in high regard. I am not taking away anything from Dimash by suggesting other singers. I post on Dimash reaction sites, not to spam, but because I watch those reactions as well.

@@billg7531 Dimash did not work with Zhou Shen. And by my opinion, Zhou Shen is uninteresting singer. Yes, he has beautiful voice, but there are nothing special for me. There are thousands if such singers in the world. So, I think you are wrong to think that Zhou Shem must be interesting for dears
