Dimash is very different. Not only is he an absolutely incredible vocalist, but he sings in many languages although fully fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian. His English is actually very good as well. You will see performances in Kazakh, Russian, Ukrainian, English, Mandarin, Italian, French, and so on. He plays various instruments and does different genres including rap in Kazakh of course. He sometimes will dance. If that is not enough to have you curious, he has a Masters degree and is currently working on a doctorate. He is extremely humble, never ever taking credit for his accomplishments but credits God, his parents, grandparents, teachers, crew and fans. He interacts with fans very lovingly and so incredibly respectful of all people. He is a very very rare jewel. One of my favorites of all times is Sinful Passion, performed in Russian but with subtitles. Absolutely outstanding.
Oh you got it in one! The man you have just seen is one of the simplest, most humble human beings currently living. He has more wisdom at 27 than most people will attain in a lifetime. He unites countries with his music, at his New York concert 40,000 people came from 56 countries to sing together in the Kazakh language. He constantly speaks for peace and he personally contributes huge amounts to charity and through his example and encouragement his fans in turn dedicate themselves to charitable works. SOS is not a stretch for him, it sits well inside his actual 7+ octave range. Although it was composed 20 years before Dimash was born, it’s become something of a signature song for him and this is one of the most beautifully emotional renditions I’ve heard him give. SOS is personally important to him as it was the song that first gained him widespread fame, and it’s also associated with a close friend who he lost in tragic circumstances in 2018. As many people will tell you, he is pretty much universally recognised to be the best living male vocalist… probably ever to have lived… certainly from a technical standpoint (‘best’ being a somewhat subjective term). He has extraordinary control over his voice in every register and as he moves between registers, which allows him to draw whatever colours and textures he needs to convey the meaning and emotion in the song. He performs in a variety of genres, in more than a dozen languages, and plays several instruments. As a person he has a lot in common with BTS, being humble, positive and kind. Interestingly, he shares a mutual friend with RM, so maybe a collaboration could happen one day. I’d love to see that. 🆘 Among his huge catalogue of incredible performances, my personal favourite is the haunting version of Samaltau that he recorded in his home studio for the 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival. Dimash is the greatest vocalist of our time in many an opinion, including mine. I listen to him every single day without fail. A little background on our humble man: Dimash Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range, 6 octaves plus. He is also known for his great breath control and flawless transitions as you are seeing here. He has performed songs in twelve languages. Famous Russian composer / producer Igor Krutoy came out of partial retirement to specifically work with Dimash. They are now good friends and you should definitely react to any and all of their collaborations which will blow you away. SOS is the song that Dimash first became famous for in China and it continues to be the one he is most well known for though many of us DEARS (what he calls his fans as we are DEAR to him as family) have long lists of others that are our favorites as well. Welcome to the world of DIMASH. Classically trained since he was 5 yrs old. He's 27 yrs old now. He's currently finishing his Doctorate degree in between performances. He still trains at least 3 hrs a day.
How nice that you found DIMASH👍 Not only is he the best VOCALIST on this planet, he LIVES his songs. You can not only hear but feel every single word he sings. It is really an art to captivate the listener in such a way that he forgets the time and place where he is at the moment ..... Dimash has mastered this art perfectly! Just as incredible is his voice, so is his personality. For me he is one of the most lovable and honest people I have met. His way of treating each individual with great respect shows his character. Oh, you dont know what you fell into. I love BTS but i am Army for about a year. But i know Dimash for 4 years. If you think you heard what he can do... well, you didnt. He has songs in many languages, genres, for every mood. And he is much like BTS - humble, sweet, amazing performer and he wants spread Kazakh culture to the world. I love him. I guess anyone can interpret the lyrics as he wants, but...The main character of the musical Starmania, called Johnny Rockfort, sings it over the dying body of the woman he loves (Cristal), who just got killed by the men of a sort of totalitarian man who wants to rule West and is his enemy. If you are familiar with Dimash work, the plot of Starmania has some elements that remind me of Dimash MV for Golden, I always wondered if he took some inspiration from it: the evil kind of Big Brother, the underground element, the fight against injustice, the cyberpunk environment, even the tower where he sees the challenge of the bad guy (the antagonist in Starmania has his office at the top of a "GoldenTower"). Anyway, it's a sad song, it has to be with a world that is ugly and a sense of despair , impotence and loss. The last "sleep, child, sleep" is a farewell to a loved one that is leaving this world.

This is a song Dimash co-wrote. His latest 2021 release of this is excellent and provides subtitles. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was later found to have perfect pitch. His genres include rap, pop, rock, classic, traditional Kazakh folk and ballad. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, as well as contemporary music, pop and jazz. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He is currently working on his PhD in musical composition. He currently has a vocal range of 7 octaves (C2-D8) and 5 semitones but is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of range you have but in fact how you use it to move people.His vocals range from a rich low bass/baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has sung a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He's a genius at mixing genres in a song, a style he himself refers to himself as neo-classic. Hello, Dimash doesn't have a producer he doesn't accept interference in his way of singing because he does it with his soul and pure love for music and for the fans he calls dear ones. 1st time watching you guys, loved your observation. Dimash puts that emotion in any song he sings. Listen to Sinful Passion or his latest song " Stranger", he does that with every song, he has an amazing team background vocals, arrangement, band. this song was done in French, Di has been perfecting this song for a few years, it's a cover from Gregory LeMarchal, who died at a young age from Cystic Fibrosis, hence SOS he knew he would not live long.
Dimash first heard this song sung by Gregory Lemarchal, a beautiful young man who very briefly rose to fame winning a French competition with this song. Gregory died at the age of 22 from cystic fibrosis. Dimash sang this song from the viewpoint of Gregory knowing he was going to die no matter what he did. Later the song had an even more tragic meaning for Dimash. His best friend, an Olympic skater who skated to Dimash's SOS, was stabbed to death during a robbery. Afterwards Dimash sings with even more emotion and sadness. The scene in the musical has the protagonist on his knees cradling his dying girlfriend who has been shot and singing about the bitterness of fate and why of life and death while contemplating suicide. The last line of the song is finally giving her permission to "sleep, child, sleep" as his she dies. You can see in Dimash's face he is thinking of his friend in his last moments. It always makes me tear up each time I hear him sing this song.

And you got off track, but you had a lot of thoughtful things to say about our planet, climate change, mans' indifference to his environment, etc. I think you would enjoy MANY of Dimash's songs and his music in general, but one particular performance I think you would like is War and Peace, which he himself wrote the music for (someone else wrote the lyrics when he told her what he was trying to convey) and I especially like his performance at his Kiev concert. This particular song (SOS) is actually over 40 years old and was written for a French rock opera. It is the song that Dimash actually introduced himself to the world with in 2017 when he participated in a Chinese singing contest with all established singers. He was the youngest at 22 to ever perform in this particular contest and also considered an "outsider" and a dark horse who they expected to be voted out after one or two episodes. Little did they know that he would come in second! He is also a kind, generous, polite, sweet, humble, down-to-earth guy who has a wicked sense of humor at times. ziah, people don’t usually go as deep as you went thr first time hearing it. It has always been dimashs go to songs at his concerts. There are many live versions all of them a 10.the earliest age I think of Dimash singing this is when he was 15 yrs. he’s 27 now. Somehow Dimash has connected to the song maybe because of some of the things you talked about. This is one of the saddest songs I’ve ev heard. Thanx for the subtitles.it’s in French and franch brought him over to sing at Frances Cannes film festival in nice I think. He also sang it as a haligram for the Biden/Harris inauguration. Dimash thinks like you about the shape of the world.his country Khazakastan is a democratic country between the two communistic countries Russia and China. For their wars through the centuries they stolen their young men and rapped the land for their armies. And, what does Dimash he holds concerts and tours in those countries. This could be my favorite sos. You think as I thought 2 yrs ago that this is his best….he can’t get any better. When I found him wikipedia and the female vocal coaches said he was the six octave man. After listening to him for a period I knew the were wrong. It wasn’t six.it was more. Now they are actually giving him credit for an 8 octave range.he sings in every register of the piano. All the way from bass in the first octaveto the metso soprano whistle notes in the 8th octave and in Gakku at a concert there he hit an”D8” one note off the piano.in the song stranger a month ago at the new wave concert he sings in about six octaves and such a unique song.thanx for blessing me with your original reaction. The term that Dimash does to make us feel what he is singing is “emote” to emote.

I highly recommend you to keep on reacting to Dimash Qudaibergen videos. Reactors normally start with all his performances at the TV singing contest "I'm Singer", in China. He was invited with 22 years old, on January 2017, as he had won a lot of competitions around Eurasia. Just at the very first day (he also performed on the first place), he moved millions of hearts. Next morning, he couldn't understand why he suddenly had bodyguards. He found out the answer when he finally put a feet outside the hotel. He got shocked when thousands of people were waiting for him to go out.

Everything is incredible that Dimash does. The whole Digital concert in January 2021 was amazing. Dimash, sang 18 songs ( from all genres). Every song was this production quality both in sound and digital visuals. Dimash is currently dropping every song from this concert at weekly intervals, on his RU-vid channel. You’ve not seen anything yet, btw! His lower registers are to die for! Currently he has over a 7 octave range, beautiful in all registers! His highest note sung live, is not even on the piano!
Everyone of Dimash songs is outstanding, emotional and so go to his you tube channel and enjoy and react. The three different genres he just dropped about a month ago check them out. Stranger, flyaway, and Ave Maria. This will blow your mind

The range vocal, his skill, powerfull vocal are amazing. Iam agree about bouth of you talking about dimash. But this young man different from other singer in the world. His voice are "cure" for us as his listener. But his range are killing it.......A2 (i think like beatbox, his lower voice just like someone beatbox low voice) to D8!!!! That is off the piano!!! Thanks for a very good reactions. You are having a good understanding of music, singing and life in genral. The only thing i don't agree is that people just can sing because they are talented. To be a very good singer you need beside the talent also a lot of training. More Dimash please, because after one song you have almost seen nothing.
