SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. The message is also a message that Dimash strongly believes in, so Together is representing a large part of his character in that song. I will say that I didn’t go read any comments left by anyone, hopefully they were informative and supportive of Dimash’s brothers work and his musical ability, while only 16, Mansurs ability exceeds most people, and this is a upbeat pop type song, so musically appropriate.
