Thank you for sharing . really inspiring. Dimash is a damn amazing talent. He is a master of dynamics. This is an amazing, unique singer with a magic voice! Greetings from Mongolia.”
Dimash said once in an interview that this song is the hardest song to sing for him emotionally speaking because it is about sorrow and pain of his country, of his people... And you can say that just watching this performance. I suggest you watched again with the subtitles. It is a song about a young man that is leaving his homeland and forced to be a soldier. Hugs from Brazil.
This is one of my favorite songs from Dimash. Every time I hear the wind roaring, steppe wolves howling (kobyz gives this effect), I empathize with all my heart with a young guy from the village going to fight for the Russian tsar. This pain of parting with elderly parents and uncertainty in the future depresses the guy. I know that Dimash considers this song very personal for himself, difficult to perform on an emotional level. My heart groans and cries with him. Thank you, Dear Ones, for responding to this song. I saw how she touched you. Eric, Alan, listen to another version, not a concert version. There Dimash is completely different, deeper... Thank you, dear ones. I love you!
A piece of real, painful history of his homeland. Young Kazakhs forced to leave their homes and fight a war that was not their war. Forced by Russian empire, Czar, in 1916.
This beloved Kazakh folksong is about a Samal village man in 1916, leaving Samaltau, his mountain home, and his elderly mother alone, walking, walking.. to war.. .in parts unknown, their destinies in God's hands.

amaltau significa Monte Samal.
That 1st instrument is a Kobyz - an ancient traditional 2 stringed instrument. This song is so incredible for it's history/story telling, the arrangement and of course Dimash's vocals and interpretation. Fantastic. Thank you for your reaction and words. :)
Epic performance. Dimash is a damn amazing talent. This is an amazing, unique singer with a magic voice! Thank you Guys for great reaction as always. Please react more Dimash performance.
No one surprises me like DIMASH. I have respect and reverence for him. He is a great creator in our world. Thank you for introducing me to him . I love your reactions.
When Dimash sings with his eyes closed, you are always in for a treat. When he sings with his eyes closed and his hand cupped to his heart? It’s breathtaking. A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿
It’s not as flashy, but it’s still actually flashy .. 💯 facts! Love ya Guys & love DQ here, who’s humanity pours out here, imo! ! THX amaz video & I NEED a 🌪 immediately, lol!

You boys are both very smart and I always enjoy watching you. BUT, you need to spend at least a few moments discovering what this song is about, its cultural meaning, and its history. It's not hard to find and well worth the read. Dimash gives so much and it is one of his desires to share his cultural history. Cheers, Peace & Love
hello, nice to see you again! Kisses to both of you! If you really want to see the real atmosphere of this folk song performed by Dimash, watch his recording during the May 2020 quarantine. It's an incredible instrumental treat.
Wonderful performance by Dimash. Great reaction. Thank you os much guys. Please check Ikanaide from the 20th Tokyo Jazz Festival . Would love to see your reaction on that.
Me gustan mucho vuestras reacciones!!.. ❤️🥰🇪🇸🙏🇺🇦
I went through the whole journey of your reactions from beginning! Each and every single song in one shot! it is 3 am and I am amazed! I laughed and I cried and I felt alive! Thank you Dimash! Thank you Dears! What a journey.. I subscribed immediately and looking forward for more! Love from Syria❤️ 🇸🇾
I love Dimash songs that have this rock power. I also sure that he could be some great rock covers. One song that comes in my mind is Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple. As he loves Queen, another great song would be One Vision or Under Pressure.
Olzhas Qurmanbek performs on the Kobyz. He is considered the best Kobyz player in the world. A gifted Kobyz player can re-create the soundscapes of the steppes and the different animals who live there. It’s traditionally played by shamans and is considered as sacred instrument.
When Kazakhstan belonged to Russia (In 1916/17, First World War), young Kazakhs were forced, by the Russian Empire, to leave their homes and fight 35 years until their total massacre. The story of one of these young people, who marches in despair to a war that is not his, in addition to the sadness of leaving his parents, elders, with no one to take care of and the certainty that he will never see the mountains ("tau") of Kazakhstan again. this wonderfully sad song! In addition to Dimash's talent, we have a wonderful setting and fantastic musician: Olzhas Qurmanbek, Master of Playing the Qobyz (Kobyz, which looks like a violin: An instrument of Turkish origin, sacred in Kazakhstan).
Please everyone pray for Kazakhstan. There’s been quite an upheaval this week and I understand Almaty has experienced considerable damage and looting of ATMs and banks. God bless this beautiful land and keep your people safe.
Hi guys, Dimash has released a few songs recently that I would love to hear your thoughts on: Stranger (Youku show version), Ikanaide (Jazz Festival), and Omir Oter (Digital Show - just released yesterday. The music and his voice are amazing but the visuals of this song are heavy, at least to me, so keep that in mind).
