Dimash is Kazakh, 29, and been trained since age 5. He sings every genre and in over a dozen languages. He is probably the best singer in the world, I've not heard better. If you ever get the chance to hear him live then go!
But it doesn't mean he is good in every genre, that he sings in. He is God in opera style, and in mixed voice, also in ethnic style. That's pretty much it.

His French is much better now and his interpretation has changed but my first introduction to him was hearing SOS on the Chinese singeing compittion that singer a few years ago and I like that one as it was before and audience without all the effects. This was great too but I guess I just like that performance better. He is just fun to watch when he is before an audiance. He also performs in 6 or 7 other languages I would suggest watching him perform love of tired swans with Igor Krutoy ( music director, composer and pianist) in Moscow. Thanks for your reaction. Yes Dimash has been “super vocally trained “ since age 5. He takes his training to heart. Dimash was invited at age 22 to compete in a Chinese reality show called The Singer in 2017. It consisted of known Chinese Singers in China. He was the youngest and only non Chinese so he had to go first to start the season. Dimash said during an interview that was the first time he ever performed on “the adult stage”. Each week he had to learn a new song. His biggest concern was his Kazakh accent as he sang in French, Italian, Mandarin, Russian, Kazakh, English and others. I can’t speak for other languages as I am American 🇺🇸 and speak English. In 2017 his English was fair, I saw comments from people from France who criticized his French. So what, at least he tried and succeeded. They were not his native languages. He loves music worldwide and did covers of many great singers. He wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 18 and performs that at all of his many worldwide solo concerts. There is no one like Dimash. He is genuine, surrounds himself around people he knows and loves. He loves his fans who he calls Dears. He is extremely family oriented, takes his job seriously, and is a very sweet, gentle, kind and humble young man. If you really want to see him in high gear performance, check out his concerts. He seldomly sings the same song the same. Dimash know his vocal cord from top to bottom. (d'un Terrien en détresse)" is originally from a French-Canadian musical called 'Starmania' from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. As you might already know, this performance was from a 90-minute digital show/concert streamed on Jan 31, 2021. According to Dimash’s website, an international team of 140 of the world's top talents in the industry worked on organizing and producing the online concert, integrating modern television and virtual technologies. I heard the American version is very different from the original French version, where his girlfriend dies in his arms after being fatally injured, thus he is on his knees and sings, Sleep child sleep at the end, releasing her in peace... maybe the world IS better on the other side, seen from above (in spirit, as a bird would see it.) I will research it again. I had watched the only French version I could find. I couldn't stand the American one (I am from USA). The lyrics were awful. Deep meaning is still there... In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. All his songs are different (save for a couple of pop covers) in terms of genre. So if you ask what genre does he sing? The answer is: yes. It is easier to cover what he doesn't sing (off key) & can't sing (horribly). The only time he sang off key is when an orchestra was warming up & they were out of tune and so he sang a few bars off key to match them. He has absolute pitch.

Dimash is very trained. He began training classically in his native Kazakhstan when he was five, before also studying contemporary music. He graduated with his Masters in Music a few years back and has only reached age 29 this past May. He sings in a multiple of languages and speaks Kazakh, Russian fluently and is working on his English. He has a broad variety of songs, some of my favourites are Sinful Passion, Stranger, Across Endless Dimensions, Be with Me, The Story of One Sky (an absolute masterpiece!), Ti Amor En Ti… the list goes on! Dimash is a 29-year-old Kasakh vocalist and composer; he speaks kasakh, russian and english and is learning mandarin chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts, and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He is currently in the United States, working on his new material that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are looking forward to. He is a kind, well-mannered and compassionate person who leaves his culture and his country in high regard wherever he goes.

Haha I truly hadn’t! I don’t research everything about the singer or band, because honestly that would be so time consuming. (And it’s been fun to hear the history from the fans.) Sometimes a band does a solo performance with just the lead singer doing the song, sometimes it’s the whole band. Sometimes there’s a just a front man but the whole band is referred to by the one name. I just wasn’t sure! It gets confusing when you’re looking up a bunch of new people. 🙃 No disrespect meant!
Dimash is the king of vocals. His abilities are beyond human abilities. It is unique in sound technology. Its range exceeds that of a piano keyboard. I think his abilities show what humans are capable of. So it isn't beyond human capability. It is just beyond the ability of the vast majority. He was blessed with a unique talent and thank God he didn't neglect to develop it.

Welcome to the phenomenon that is Dimash! You have come across the best vocalist in the world right now! I really hope you stick with him for a while as you will be amazed with every performance, I promise! He is super trained and can sing a reported 7.2 octaves, sings in 12-14 languages and just about any genre from Opera to pop, rock, folk, classical and he even raps and he does all of this to perfection. The Digital Show was done when he had to cancel his live concerts because of Covid and was all performed live by him for his fans and also he raised a huge amount of money for the Covid fund as well. You could carry on with his Digital Show or you can look for other performances such as Stranger, Olimpico, Sinful Passion or The Love of Tired Swans. There are so many more to chose from too. You hit the jackpot with Dimash. Yes, he has a voice of an angel. He sings in many genres and many languages including English. Sometimes he does not sing lyrics at all, just uses his voice. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English quickly becoming his third. He also plays multiple instruments. He is a very highly trianed artist and he is also a very incredibly humble and respectful person. Please do his Spanish song, El Amor En Ti. You will get to see some of his opera, his baritone, his tenor, his soprano and then pop, all in one song.
