Seeing your reaction make think to I was looking into a mirror 3 years ago. It took me at least a dozen replays to wrap my mind around what the he... I just witnessed. It's not just the unbelievable range and quality of his voice - he is an like an emotional tsunami. And... He is doing this with every song. You just scratched the surface of what he is capable of. Thank you for your honest reaction. Yes, Dimash can move people and his pure voice can go through your heart and reach into your soul. In this video from 2017, he was just 22 years old. He is now 29. More matured. His voice got even better, if you can believe that. This SOS was a French song written back in the late 70's, but no matter. Dimash sang it the best. He is music. He completely embodies it. So welcome to Dimash world. I have only discovered him 6 months ago and I became an instant Dear, and have to listen to him every single day. I have that "need" to hear his pure and angelic voice. I am 61 and grew up with all the pop music of the late 70s and 80s music that I loved, but no one and I mean NO ONE, gave me goosebumps and chills like Dimash. He also moves you and makes you cry and more. I would tell everyone I know about Dimash and help spread his name and his music. He is classically trained (heard that he is working on his PhD in musicology), so yeah, soon to be Dr. Dimash PhD, and he can sing everything and anything. He is also a very down to earth, gentle and kind person. Very humble and respectful to everyone. He loves his family and his country. He is very serious about his music/art. He can't be put in a box of a certain type or category of music. One may not understand his style of music, but one can't deny that he is the best at it. I stumbled across this channel after listening to Dimash on other channels. What was so interesting was Barry's face changed in reaction to listening to Dimash. It was like as if an angel held their hands, cradling his face. Barry was touched, moved, he softened and genuinely was astounded, like so many others, who have listened to Dimish. This singer is in the same genius category as Mozart, De Vinci, Rembrandt, Strass.....all beautiful freaks of nature, that God sent to this world, to touch the heart of humanity. Many have wept. I too wept.

Today my son sent me a short clip of Dimash singing part of SOS and I was so blown away I looked up more videos of him. As incredible as SOS was, I was absolutely astounded at what he does on The Story of One Sky,. He composed it. He has the best vocal control of any singer I have ever heard in my life, and I am a lifelong singer and listener.

Welcome aboard the Dimash wagon. Boy, are you in for lots more tears to come. Like yourself I don't understand the languages but his performances pulls at your heart strings. This song by Daniel Balavoine "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" who was killed in aviation accident put Dimash on to the world stage. Lots of french speakers always pick on Dimash for pronouncing the "s" in ris and vis but how can anyone fault his performance. He fixes this so called error in his other live performances. I'd like to hear the Frenchies sing in Kazakh ! Let them eat cake, I say. Anyway, I'm glad see that one dose of Dimash has got you converted. Loved your reactions.

It's so refreshing to see a pro singer react to Dimash!! Barry, this is in no way embarassing! Crying to music is liberating! Dimash is indeed one of the best vocalists in the world right now and the effect he had on you he also had it in many of us!! It was absolutely a blast watching you react to him, it was so evident how you could immediately tell this is going to be something extraordinary, your musicality and music intelligence are more than evident!! It will be so great watching you react to more of his performances!! Dimash will really blow you away even more. His immense artistic capacity and technical skill go a lot beyond SOS. Dimash (dee-MAHSH) is already a world star. I was at his live solo sold-out concert in NYC last December. He is amazing live. His concerts are very dynamic, and his voice has gotten better and better since this performance from 3 yrs ago in China. The European part of his concert tour was interrupted by the pandemic, but has been rescheduled for Spring 2021.

I have never met a singer with an emotional emotion when he sings, like Dimash. I'm not even going to talk about your 6-octave vocal ability and other techniques. Its authors Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon never knew for whom they would finally compose it because no one can take it away from this wonderful Kazakh man any more.
