Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages(PHONETICALLY) but (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology. He was 2 in this performance and is 28 now (only gotten better). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of Dimash's talent and ability. He has performed songs in 15 languages; Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Sicilian, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, Arabic, and Japanese. Besides his native Kazakh tongue, he speaks fluent Russian, which is still an official language in most former Soviet Republics. Dimash is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. Dimash plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. He usually performs for more than two hours during live concerts and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. A good professional vocalist has a range of about 3 octaves. According to some analysts, Diamsh's range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), spanning across all four registers. He has continued to hone his skills and to fine-tune and perfect his already unbelievable abilities even more. There does not seem to be a limit to what he can achieve vocally. I am excited to follow his journey. Dimash may go down in history as the most extraordinary vocal talent known to man. I have been a Dimash Dear for about 2 years and my admiration for Dimash grows daily. I have listened to his songs multiple times- each time I hear ‘more’ , at a deeper level. I usually cry, except for fun songs like Be With Me or Fly Away. I liked and subscribed because you had a positive reaction to Dimash;). However, I have a suggestion to make. Dears can get a bit upset when reactors ‘talk over’ Dimash. We don’t mind you pausing the video to speak, we do want to hear your thoughts, but ‘talking over’ does tend to ruin the song. Dears are from countries all around the world and would like subtitles available so they can understand you. Dimash sings in a dozen languages so subtitles are good for all! Dimash Kudaibergen is tall, at 6' 3". He is from Kazakhstan, and is fluent in Kazak and Russian. He can speak some English and Mandarin. He was 22 in this video and is now 28. He began his classical vocal and instrumental training at age 5 and continued training for 20 years. He still visits his vocal coach as needed or when he happens to be home. He is spectacular not only in his vocal abilities, but in his acting and pure entertainment abilities. I do hope this is not your last reaction to him.

This was almost 6 years ago, Dimash was 22. During the intervening years , Dimash has continued to Train and Develop his musical skills far beyond this performance...He only had 6 octaves then, now it is over 7. I do not understand why this is the video most recommend, when there are several newer performances. So if you were amazed by this, You have a Golden ticket ride waiting for you. You might want to invest in a seatbelt.......

Dimash is 28 this year of 2022, this competition took place in 2017 , so ofcourse his voice has matured between times. Dimash was INVITED to participate in this competition between well established proffessional singers. He sings in 15 languages and speaks 4 or 5. He is an instrumentalist, playing 7 diff instruments. He composes, writes lyrics, obviously does covers too. He holds a variety of degrees in various genres, was offered a place in Kazakhstan's Opera House which he chose not too take, because he wants to be free to go explore and create and experience all sorts of music. This year 2022, he achieved and attained his Docorate of Music. Before taking part in this competition, he was and is already a well know and loved singer/musician. Having won many prestigious competitions from a very young age. And sits on judges panels, of singing competitions. At 3yrs old it was established that he is pitch perfect . Sorry not subscribing, just cant relate to your style and overtalking of the performance so loudly I can't hear Dimssh . Just my opinion. I wish u the best with your channel. Born May 24, 1994, Dimash Kudaibergen, OPENED the annual Chinese singing competition I Am Singer 2017 (the world's most viewed singing competition) as the youngest ever competitor and first ever non-Chinese special invitee. Relatively unknown both to the audience, judges and competitors, he was expected not to last long into the 14-15 week show. Then he performed this song, SOS and required bodyguards throughout the show's running due to the sensation resulting. SOS became his signature song and he has performed it many times since. It is a good bookmark song to compare thru the years to note his continued expansion of his vocal talents. This show is full of his amazing performances, each worthy of reactions. The show was a springboard for Dimash's career to an even larger worldwide audience. I discovered Dimash with this same performance @ 5 years ago and have viewed over 3k YT reactions for various Dimash performances since that time. He is an addiction. Though he did not win this competition against Chinese invited professional singers from different genres of music vying for the title of Chinese Singer of the Year, he placed second largely due to the fact that the rules did not allow for a non-Chinese artist to receive that title. The furor as a result forced the hand of the show producers to change that rule for following years. Quite simply, Dimash is the most talented singer of our time imo. I STRONGLY recommend that you suppress the urge to view his more recent performances for now and next review SINFUL PASSION 2018. At 22 years old, Dimash was the youngest participant in the show's history and competed against these professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a 'wildcard' competitor. The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash's mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. This was the very first episode of the competition, and Dimash had to go first because he was considered the weakest, given that he was completely unknown to the audience. After this performance, he became a superstar in China overnight. His Chinese competitors called him their "little imported brother." The other already well-known contestants were in absolute awe of him and joked that they might as well go home. Dimash won the first two episodes! He also won the 6th for his rendition of "Adagio," a song made famous by Lara Fabian. First place overall went to the famous Chinese Sandy. Sandy's first album came out before Dimash was even born. Dimash took second place overall; however, he lost by a very narrow margin. He lost a lot of points for his performance of "Uptown Funk." Although Dimash did not win the show, he immediately became a beloved star in China. As part of the contest, all contestants/performers are required to perform one original song they have composed. Dimash sang "Unforgettable Day," a song he wrote when he was still in his teens - it's a love song. He sang in both the original Kazakh and in Chinese even though he did not speak Chinese at the time and had to have a translator with him throughout the competition. This was on Singer 2017, and it was the first episode, first song. He was very nervous (according to backstage video). When I first time heard him singing S.O.S. song, I thought it is a hoax. So I went through Internet till the morning to listen bunch of his other songs and back-stage clips from The Singer2017 😂. I also found out he didn't had enough big international repertoire at the time, and he (with help of course) had to prepare 13 songs in 3 month (and there are also some complicated rules I don’t understand). So he had to impress them, otherwise he would be excluded from the competition. Singer was competition of in China well known singers (all singers is invited). He was invited as a “wildcard”. The young foreigner, not established singer who at the time of this contest (2017) hardly spoke English. So although he finished second, he was a winner. With his first performance (S.O.S.), he got huge numbers of fans in China and his career skyrocketed. In 2019 he was already recognised in Russia too. But then the corona came and complicated things a bit.
