Dimash - The Story of One Sky : I WAS ASTONISHED! 

I am a 58 year olfd man ..I have watched this at least 25 times I always cry .. and it seems I always get a little bit more out of it each time as I see more and more little details that I did not see before ..I think this was a multi-year endeavor for Dimash and it shows .. as always love your reactions and see you next time

So this is Dimash... This is one important reason so many of us Dears have fallen head over heels over our humanitarian. The courage to come out with such a production especially as a "new artist" could have dire consequences or even get blacklisted . The Pope has awarded a medal to Dimash for this song. What an actor , what a voice and to think he had worked on this for over 3 years and it shows. This is such a heartbreaking story and one that we all see unfold in the world today. Thank you for your great and empathetic reaction. In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. It’s funny how very few reactors realize that the soldiers shot in the arm at the beginning of the war scenes was Dimash. A wonderful reaction from a tearful Maddy and many watching like me. I was at the Dimash concert in Kuala Lumpur, now three weeks ago, and heard Dimash sing The Story of One Sky live on stage and his performance was charged with an even greater emotional attachment, I think from the previous weeks passing of his Grandfather that was a shock to Dimash and all us Dears and many thought it might influence whether the concert might be cancelled! We need not have worried, his commitment was absolute. Yes, the live version of this, the best one on RU-vid I think is at his Almaty concert. Just out of interest, Dimash has a piano version of The Story of one Sky, that he plays himself!! What a Singer, what a composer, what an Actor, what a Raconteur in song, what an example of humility and worldwide Ambassador for Peace - My idea of the perfect human being. Two Nobel prizes at least: one for Peace and one for contribution to the Arts!

It's a masterpiece! He worked on it for three years as I understand it. Dimash is just one of a kind.

As a Russian myself I'm ashamed of what my country and many people of my country do, especially since 2022. It's unacceptable and unbelievable that some still choose a path of death during our time and age... I moved to another country, I faced some challenges, such as a necessity to learn a new language, to receive a work permission, to start a new career path, to live away from homeland. But everything is better than joining a war from the aggressor side. I realise it's a privilege to avoid the war in that way, but I believe everyone can do something to choose a path of life. I wish everyone to live with love, acceptance, and to have a peaceful life that everyone deserves 💙🕊️

Those of all religions need to stand together to stop war and hate and walk toward the light of our One God, the creator of all things. We need peace.

Great reaction Matty I thought you'd come across what I believe to be Dimash's most significant work to date pretty quickly. The Story of One Sky Iwould say not only shows off his amazing vocal and musical skills but Dimash's humanity as well. I was lost for words myself when i first watched this and was still the second time. This piece of work is a stunning collaboration between Dimash and all the others who helped bring this musically and visually to life. You definitely got the message I believe he was trying to get across in this piece of art. It is meant to be a thought provoking piece and he achieved that with you.
