Dimash When I've Got You Honest Reaction | I Love Dimash Not A fan Of This Song 

First time I heard this song, it was in his Hong Kong concert. I loved it, because it sounds like a big, classy, bit diva song :) Bit dated style, but he always blends older with newer. When I heard the "studio" version, the way it was recorded (vocals and instruments) to mesh with the MV, I felt a bit.. meh. I felt like some stuff was missing, and some vocal approaches were slightly different, but not necessarily better. I loved the concert version so much and had gotten used to it. He sings the verse live, the soprano hits are live and gorgeous, the baritone dip is live and butter, and the chorus with the rapid riffs might be supported by track (not 100% sure though), mostly due to the premiere stress and english being a tongue-twister for him as a non-native speaker. He might be perfect musically, amazing vocally, but his memory flickers sometimes in concert, when it comes to remembering/pronouncing lyrics, especially in english :)) He`s still getting used to it :) (and to the foreign alphabet). He never forgets a note, but words and their pronunciation in a foreign language are something else :)) Anyway, the studio version of this song sounded a bit off to me when I heard it, the instruments had an unusual echo etc. Then I realized that they might have made those choices to mesh with the video better. The live version was slightly more soul-bluesy, vocal texture-wise. I really hope you will watch the MV when you get to it, it`s Dimash`s own video script, straight from the depths of his heart, he worked on the script and the musical composition for 3 years, and the song and the video truly are inseparable. It`s practically a short film about the human condition, it even got submitted to a film festival, it`s not a simple song of a particular genre. Love your channel ❤

I will confess there are a couple of songs that I am also not thrilled with, this one I do like. Not enjoying one or two of his songs makes you no less of a fan. It is personal preference.

I don't think that's going to matter, most reactors have already reacted to this song and overwhelming loved it. The only previous reactor who didn't is one that's well known for only liking Dimash songs when he goes Sky high with the vocals. It's reached a million views faster than any other song he's done, has entered the RU-vid Hot 100 chart, and is trending on Twitter is several different countries. One bad review is not going to hurt this song in the slightest. It looks like it's going to be the biggest commercial success for Dimash yet.

Agreed! Finally a fan that gives people their opinion. Dears are usually weird with a differing opinion than theirs.

I’m not talking about any of his techniques in the sense of performance I’m simply saying the song is not for me. In previous reactions I talk about his low range and many others areas. With Dimash I’m not looking for bells and whistles or magic vocals, I already love him as a performer. The same way I can say I love Whitney Huston or any other famous singer but I don’t love all there songs!!

I respect your opinion. It’s actually among the top of my favourite play list tracks of Dimash songs along with Samultau, Quiran elim, screaming, Golden and War and peace. I guess the beat and feelings are more to my taste than the super crazy range extremes. I do enjoy those too of course but they aren’t in my regular play list.

Did you watch the video? It’s simply the song I’m not a fan of not Dimash, I agree with you on all levels about his performance and vocal mastering as I explain in the video. I have done lots of reactions to this god of a vocalist In have only spread positive and kind remarks. My opinion is simply the song is not for me!!! Nobody loves everything I’m not saying I hate it I’m simply saying it’s not for me I prefer his other stuff specially the stuff that is more rooted within the sound of his local culture!!!

The Dears have long known about Dimash's duality. In fact we even have a cartoon to explain the stark difference between the two sides of his personality. It's called Divil and Dingel and it's brilliantly funny. Every time he does something that goes opposite to his usual good boy persona another cartoon comes out! 🤣

I change the thumbnail on all videos after around 12 hours because it helps to be spread to more people. I’m not apologizing for anything as I said nothing bad. I can see how it might look that way but it’s what I always do!!

I make three thumbnails before I Evan post and have different title ideas that I change around every 12 hours. Sometimes a thumbnail change can make a big difference to the views I learnt this from watching Mr beast lol

So you did not watch my full video and commented based on the title of the thumbnail and have not seen any of my other reactions to Dimash. People are allowed to have different tastes and opinions and making judgements on how i connect with music when you have no understanding who I am is very rude. Try reading the other’s comments and watch my other reactions before you judge. To me Dimash is a god of a vocalist with more connection to the craft than anyone I have ever seen. I will never understand his true message to any of his music because we all connect in different ways!!! I simply don’t enjoy the song I’m not saying the messaging or the performance is flawed, it’s just not my taste!!
