yes, Leonardo tested UM Submarine back in 2015, I worked in Türkiye for Fincantieri Tuzla! Italian Telespazio helps Türkiye too in develop satellites Project GÖKTÜRK
What sea states can it operate in, and is endurance measured in hours or days? I'm always suspicious of these models that are heavily overloaded with everything short of a tactical nuke. And this thing does ECM as well? Note that it appears to be optionally manned, so that on top of everything else it still has to reserve internal volume and stability margins to accommodate a couple of humans, probably at least three (at least two of which are likely console operators for the ECM role). Conclusion: if you're policing a small sea or coastal region, maybe. But you simply can't compare the mission profile of this Saudi Princeling's bath toy with a 7,000 tonne frigate with global endurance.
@michaelpezzullo3591 seriously, it absolutely isn't. And the jury is out on whether you're a victim of Russian trolling or are in fact a paid Russian troll. Either way, you're muted 👍
Well done Xav! Another excellent video. Your coverage of the event has been fantastic. It’s interesting to see the Chinese showcasing designs. Keep up the great work!!
The Foxtrot 115 frigate at 9:45 looks like a scale down version of the I-class frigate. But still well armed with 16 Ashm/SSM and 16-cells VLS SAMs and a GOKDENIZ 35mm CIWS.
@2:24 oohhh VSP (Voith Schneider Propellers) are supper cool. While I love them, I have a bit of doubt of their use in that hull design and application, but always cool to see them.
Off-shore Patrol Vessel are peace time ship intended for protection of EEZ and beyond, so far when armed with a 76mm gun especially like Superapido with Dart and Vulcano munitions adding a pair of 30mm gun is all you need. Most of all must be cheap because in wartime is just a target! If work is well done ten OPV would cost as one destroyer. Don't need to be grey it can wear Cost Guard colors too. Destroyers are combat ships with their hundred VLS (would be nicer double it) supported by Frigates 32 VLS at half the price both big enough for ocean angry waters and long range. Numbers: ideally 100 destroyers plus 20 frigates, but depends on money. Aircraft carrier, landing ships, replenishment ships and auxiliares till tugs the others. Cruiser is another category of ship that will disappear and Corvette will be for peculiar countries for example Grece in Aegean Sea (but it's hard to build a corvette at half the price of a frigate without making a FAC) This is my opinion of course everybody is free to disagree
No, that will be our new air defence and command frigates, als our new ASW frigates will be better. All ships will enter service between 2028 and 2034. Total of 9 frigates biggest around 10000t
Bonjour tout le monde, merci beaucoup pour ce reportage. Avant j'ai aimé visiter ces expositions. Peut être un jour je pourrai continue mes visites...bon courage pour mes collegues...

@@jorehir While the Chinese petrol vessel UAV system may showcase impressive technological advancements, it's disconcerting to hear that the focus seems to be more on the quantity of weapon systems rather than thoughtful considerations of necessity and peaceful applications. Indeed, the integration of artificial intelligence into military systems is a remarkable achievement.
@@fallinloveatfirstdream4222I focus on quantity of armaments because that Chinese builder focuses on quantity of armaments. Nothing inherently wrong with it. That concept may have some applications.
