#DimensionsInTime (1993) is a short charity spoof crossing over the world of #EastEnders. Made for the #DOCTORWHO 30th anniversary and growing from planned film project The Dark Dimension, the year also seeing fan tribute The Airzone Solution by BBV.
Although generally not classed as canon amongst Whovians, the large return of key stars (and monsters!) remains particularly impressive! Gaining a cult following, various bootleg DVDs have also been made by fans, although we hope our edit with extra features is the best version so far!

Just learnt there's an alternative cliffhanger pickup to Part 2 (as viewers could vote the resolution of who saves them); as well as an extended version of Part 2 (originally cut for Noel's House Party)... Please let me know if this footage is available anywhere!🙏 (Heard extended Part 2 is here on YT?) Myself or someone else could perhaps edit a superior version with these parts included✨

It's such a shame they couldn't of filmed a proper anniversary special for the fans.It would of been so special seeing those actors in a real story, for most it would of been their last goodbye's to the show.We did nearly get the Dark Dimension, but alas it wasn't to be. The only positive thing I can say it did help Children In Need, but The Five Doctors also did that. Thanks for posting.

Frustrated me as a kid this one did ‘cos it _did_ offer glimpses into a ‘what if’ scenario had _Who_ continued a few years beyond ‘89 . . . Even four ~ five years later both McCoy and Aldred were in fine form.

The Albert Square setting could easily have been tweaked into a 'canon' episode had it been established that they were trapped in an artificial world created by the Rani from the mind of one of the companions, who is a big soap opera fan. Ace could have said something like "We're trapped in an episode of EastEnders, Doctor". It would have been great, in a Westworld sort of way.

Frustrating isn’t it. Bad cuts, missed lines, plus infuriating edits. The premise isn’t bad: the doctor and his companions keep glitching thanks to the Rani’s meddling, when they get too close to the truth she unleashes the hoard. But then…..the hoard just disappear? The resolution works too, that romana is a time lady which corrupts her collection, but then….I don’t know. It just feels like a huge missed opportunity to not use all these amazing actors in the same scene at the end where the doctor could beat the Rani at her own game. I love it. But I love it’s potential even more.

I guess he wasn't much into doing multi-Doctor scenes back then. At least he sort of made up for it in "The Day of the Doctor" by appearing as "The Curator" with Matt Smith.

Even though this was a comedy sketch piece to raise money for charity, it's a lot better than the Doctor Who we have today. Rani was a great villain. I always found Kate O'Mara very attractive. This brings back fond memories. RIP Kate and Jon Pertwee.

Love and Monsters, because DIT has all the surviving doctors at that point and Colin Baker with the Brigadier, whereas L&M reminds everyone how a truly amazing film shares the same name with an embarrassing and awful TV episode of an otherwise great series.
