Village Dance for violin and piano
by Constantin Dimitresco, transcription by George Raoul Vidas
This was performed on the G.B. Guadagnini violin previously owned by Vidas. His fingerings and bowings were for the most part respected as an experiment in seeing how a specific instrument (not only someone's personal way of playing), may have an effect on fingering/bowing choices and thus interpretative ideas.
