Honestly love the design choice of Jotun for Dimitri, really fits him well. Also, that comparison with E!Sigurd is pretty crazy, and I still kind of like his refine, but I agree that it could be improved.

my goal is to make every dimitri of mine as best as possible since he’s one of my favorite characters ever! emblem sigurd alone has changed so many dimitri alts and i really hope one day i can make them all shine at their max potential. really considering atk/spd excel on winter dimitri and emblem sigurd effect on fallen dimitri, maybe even momentum?! aaaaaaa i’m just so happy they have new options, for the longest time it felt like only brave dimitri could do much (which is the main one i’ve invested my heart and soul into)

The art of the first 3H units in feh left a lot to be desired in my opinion, with the exception of Dimitri. His dark expression made him stand out quite a bit, and considering his backstory, there was a very good reason for that.

Dimitri looks hella good in his new art. And just when we finally got the last nightmare critter, we also got an announcement for resplendent Laegjarn, score!

It's interesting that all of the Lord refines were basically alternate versions of their Legendary PRFs (raging storm, atrocity, and fallen star). I don't think many people realize that the weapon refines were trying to call back to those skills specifically.

And ofc Edelgard has to be better than Dimitri regardless of what he gets, still pretty excited about his resplendent though, and I love the new art.

To be honest, given the favoritism IS shows towards her, I fully expected Edelgard to be the one to get a resplendent first before Dimitri or Claude.

Two things... One, I love Mebaru's art style - but in particular, the way they color the eyes. It's mesmerizing to me. Resplendent Dimitri replicates that charm. Second, FEH is surely gathering all the VTuber artists like the Infinity Stones.

Thank you for the builds!! On the refine hypothetical, I also wish they would bring back unique weapon refine icons. With how most of the refines we get tend to be a combination of generic effects, i wish they would at least give them exclusive icons to make them feel a bit more unique!

"CD-X Jump before unit's 1st atk (X=Clash Distance, Max:2)" max 2 is quite tame for the modern standards :D

Are resplendent units worth it or are they more for collecting/building your favs?

Honestly, the fact they gave him flat DR and DR piercing actually allows him to hold up pretty well imo. Sure, that stuff is everywhere these days, but that just means he has the bare minimum required to be relevant in today's meta. He can very easily stack up that flat DR with Excel and Reopening, so he can be very tanky, especially physically. It's no Brave Dimitri, but it's still pretty damn good, especially for a cav. It's cool we're getting Three Houses remixes finally. Maybe my wife (Marianne) can get one down the line, too 🥺

New art makes him look cleaner but I’ll be honest it doesn’t stand out too much to me considering resplendent catria, resplendent brave lucina and resplendent eldigan

I want you to know I appreciate this video, unfortunately I hated the original art for Dimitri so much that I foddered my first copy and actively avoided pulling for him so only by accident I have a + 2. I appreciate the build ideas, and rerefines should totally be a thing.
