I've never disliked a video, congratulation for being my first!!!!!!

I'm a metalhead, (I've been to so much metal show, can't count it on my hand) and I love EDM too and if you've never been to a live EDM show you can't say it suck if you don't like the genre the guy are producing music and remixing too, and you can't compare metal to EDM. They're so different one is to make party all day/night the other one is to see a show.

Tomorrowland is the biggest festival in the world and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are the kings, men make their own music every minute every hour 24/24 of every day, the sets that are made at the festivals are mashups of about 3 to 4 minutes so that they have time to interview their fans, the old songs of the 90s 80s or 70s they ALWAYS ask for the approval !!! you'd better go to Tomorrowland or Garden Of Madness ibiza or Sportpaleis Belguim you'd better check out their documentary series and find more information from them before you give a stupid comment Grtzz from Belguim

EDM festivals are the best craziest concerts and best any other concerts.

5:42 in fact, yes they do have many people who manually control the show. They use a software called ShowKontrol which displays to the lighting and pyro guys what is happening on the CJDs so they can see the audio waveform and identify when a drop is coming. The lights were controlled in this year with GrandMA2 which has the ability to learn a bpm by tapping a button in beat with the music which automatically syncs the manually programmed effects to the music

Bro I don’t think u understand why DJing is loved by so many ppl, when DJs play, they DONT have to be restricted to just their songs, they can make mashups of other classic songs like Bon jovi cuz it’s such a famous song and ppl like to sing along to it, when u go to an edm concert/festival you never know what songs the DJs are gonna play, that’s why it’s exciting and ppp get hyped up for it, so do your research and maybe don’t react to EDM anymore cuz it’s clear u don’t like it’s and your just gonna be bias about it, plus their 2019 set was probably their worst one🤣

The nice thing about music is that everyone has a different music taste. I like progressive metal and others like this stuff, it does not mean that it is bad because nobody would listen to bad music. I would go to this show just for te experience :)

The worst thing about this review is that you are judging Tomorrowland without knowing a crap about it, i understand that you don't like EDM but that's just an opinion. The worst thing you said about it is that people uses drugs to enjoy it, WTF bro, people there are EDM fans from all over the world and TOMORROWLAND HAS A 0 DRUG TOLLERANCE IN IT, there are cecks before entering the festival. Before making this videos make shure that you are saying things that makes sense, oh and, sets there are live, people from all over the world meet each other there, and THAT IS MUSIC, just because it's digital made and you don't like it doesn't mean that it's not music.

It was funny to watch. I can tell you i am listen edm and really like they music. They are entertainer on stage. There sets from 2013 or 2014 are better than today. The sets arent pre recorded but most tracks are mashups on the set. The guys who do the pyro knows the tracks and synchon these tracks with the bpm. Dimitri Vegas (right) is the DJay and Like Mike (left) is the producer.

I agree with you ... to a certain extent ... I'm an old coot from 1960 and grew up with Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep ... you name it. But I learned to appreciate electronic music. Mind you not pure EDM but the viral basic sounds put out by e.g. Charlotte Dewitte, Amélie Lens, all of those dark techno vibes. I still love it. But then again, songs coming from like Lost Frequencies which have a nice melody to them, have a big appeal to me. Like someone said below, you're too cynical, judgemental ... just give in to your guilty pleasures ... just saying ;-) Edit: mainly typos.

even tho it's super negative, I do love a genuine reaction video and this might be as good as it gets, to many fake reaction videos out there. He clearly doesn't understand EDM but that's fine, it's a true reaction and I am sure I would say the same thing at a pop festival or metal festival.

This is so useless video cause you shouldn´t rate the genre of music if you like one of them. Every music genre is other. So if you are RnR lover you literally hate everything on EDM music or other genres. The genres of music should rate someone who don´t have any favourite genre and I think there is no one in the whole world. Everyone must like some. Tomorrowland is the festival like others and try to entertained their crowd like others. EDM music... sure nowdays EDM songs are not so great like a few years ago but this is the same with every genre... and djs... DV&LM are the djs, who connect crowd with music and noone in festival cares that they don´t play their music or they remixes the popular songs. They plays music with energic style and enthusiam and EDM peoples know that. So please stop doing this content.

Bro listening edm at first time , you will feel like it's shit but when you listen to it it is fun . And edm sets don't have drummers edm songs work on best drop and mashup and remixes.

Going to see all all the artists you mention would be great…30 years ago. All those bands are now is just a bunch of old guys standing around. At least this kind of stuff contains energy and movement.

To be fair: Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are probably the worst to react to. They are known for constantly screaming into the microphone and their sets are usually all over the place. Last year, they interrupted their set for a proposal on stage. Who does that? Took all the energy out of it. But hey, I get it - you dont know about that so you chose the first thing that came up. Just know there's better stuff 😅

You should be happy they are playing their ghost written songs. They probably paid people a lot of money to buy the songs and have ability to say they "wrote" it without getting sued.

This video just makes no sense? Why would you react to an EDM Festival live set if you don‘t like EDM? You probably never saw DVLM live on stage... U can‘t say they are bad if you never saw them before! They need to do one thing: Make the crowd go crazy. I know this is a old reaction but I can't watch this without commenting. I grew up on metal, birthday cake was Kiss as a kid. I have been kicked out of slayer concerts stage diving and on the thank you list of Nasty savage albums. All that being said, nothing compares to a festival like Ultra or Tomorrowland. Drugs and drunks are at all concerts. You don't need them to fill the love at a EDM festival. Anyways if you have time 1 day please watch the Avicii tribute that was performed with a live band and orchestra. You won't see a bunch of drugged out people. if done tomorrowland since 2012. the last few years i have been going as a security guard and from the main acts armin van buren is absolutely one of the best. so try to watch armin van buren djset at tomorrowland 2017. much better and he makes his music by himself.

You should react to San Holo maybe Madeon live shows or Big Wild, really like how they actually perform combining acoustic instruments with synths live, they are super dope 😄🙌🏼

These “Djs” are the most commercial djs nowadays, they play music like if they were playing for kids, its so stupid what they do with the crowd. They are the worst examples of the electronic culture, I recommend you to watch the SET OF BORIS BREJCHA IN TOMORROWLAND 2018, he’s a Minimal Dj (minimal is a subgenre of electronic music) and for me, he is really a Dj and makes nice music. 👌🏻👌🏻 (sorry if I wrote something wrong, I speak spanish 😅👍🏻)

I don't know why this video came up on my recommended but I still watched. I never really type long comments but just wanted to say Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are probably one of the worst dj's ever in my opinion. I listen to a lot of genres of music as well as electronic dance music and metal. Most metal sub genres too so I'm no stranger to metal and its roots. I love it and been listening to all kinds of metal since I was an 8th grader. I've been to a lot of metal shows and edm festivals, I'm 24 now so I'm no wise guy. I do know there's no comparison when it comes to these two fucks and an Iron Maiden show. Seeing Bruce Dickison roaring on stage is miles better than Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike shitting on the mic. I really don't think that mean edm as a whole sucks though. It doesn't mean that things can't go wrong in these shows, though it's rare. There isn't much risk but then again who gives a fuck if there's risk or not when you're having fun and enjoying the music. Whether you're on drugs or not there are just as many people who don't take drugs that attend, but again who really cares if people are just dancing and enjoying themselves. So it's not your cup of tea fine I can understand that, but saying "there's no substance" or that it's a tasteless spectacle is the most bias shit I've heard. It's the exact behavior and opinion I would expect from someone who is a 30+ year old still wearing all black & band shirts, out of shape, has a neck beard, and a is miserable music elitist. This video was so predictable. Although at the end of it, music is subjective and this is my opinion of someone's opinion. Sure I don't know you so who am I to judge someone I don't know on the internet. You just remind me of so many people I've met who just think their music (metal) or classic music is superior. That just blows my mind that some of you metal heads never grow out of that mentality. I don't know you and I could be wrong and look like the asshole but I'm just saying, prejudice metal head vibes.
