I love the fact that she doesn't try to hide the stitches by using a thread that's similar in colour to the fabric...instead they stand out and become part of the look, the style of the doll. The result shows the process.

Wow... Like going back in time to when rag dolls were truly made with old dress /shirt rags. It conjures up in my mind a small medieval village wherein grandma sat in a little stone cottage and made these dolls.

I absolutely loved this video of you making a rag doll. I forgot about how much I loved my raggedy ann when I was a child. Now at the age of 58 I use a sewing machine to do much of my items. But after watching this video, I feel inspired to make a few of these dolls for my two Grandaughters, age 3.5 and age 7. I wonder how they will react to it. I guess I'll have to see. I only wish I had one to share with you but all mine are given away. My 82 year old hands don’t sew by hand much anymore. I do sew every day by machine, but miss my hand sewing days.
