Shite always happens in the early hours of the morning. some one must be looking down on us laughing. what size and type anchor do you have and how much chain??

about 10 kg and 8 metres of chain for an 18ft dinghy that weighs 350kgs and 30 metres of nylon rode should be more than enough, but it was 30 knots and a sandy bottom 3 metres deep ,it just didn't hold. I'm hoping to get back up to Myall lakes in about 3 weeks with 2 other timber boats, so keep watching and check out my other videos. Thanks for watching cheers Paul
