really enjoy using those dingle dangles. make such big differences especially wen casting out big baits or having to have a bait presentation with the hook proudly exposed and not run into any problems

@@saltaholic5235 For a true test/ comparison, the following - 1. Clip the natural bait as well, on the same trace ( no laws against it, and the natural bait when clipped to the sinker will fly better and also add distance, which will be a better reflection of the true outcome). The test is whether the use of a dingle dangle increases distance, therefore the trace should be the same length and dimension, with one bait on a dingle and the other plainly mounted on the hook. 2. It would have been a miracle if the larger, less aerodynamic natural bait on the lopsided trace went anywhere near the same distance as the more aerodynamic and better balanced dingle dangle bait and trace. The natural bait was larger, the hook snoot shorter, the sinker line longer and off-balance, and the construction of unequal lengths of trace basically ensured that any distance comparison is worthless. 3. It would be a better comparison for the same size bait and trace design to be used, to level the playing fields. With the uneven design of the first trace and bait ( do you really fish that for kob like that?) the playing fields were definitely not level. It is an intriguing test, but really it proves only that a well-designed dingle dangle bait with a well designed trace travels further than an awkward, ungainly bait on n unbalanced, mismatched trace.......unless that was your departure point. Please consider this constructive criticism, not disrespect towards your efforts.

Thaax Junno. I see your point, i would probably(if not clipped) had the same length trace as sinker but that would put my bait even further away from the sinker.. It was just a test on clipped, vs not clipped. I'm not a pro, so mistakes i will make.. Thanx for the criticism, this also helps me grow🤙

@@saltaholic5235 my mistake then, I must have misread the headline statement on the video regarding dingle dangle baits going further, instead of clipped baits.....
@saltaholic5235

No probs, i use to build my chokka on my hook with tentacles going downwards, so then if you clip it.. that tentacles catches a lot of air and causes a lot of resistance. But yeah you can reverse it with a normal hook without dinge dangle.. I just have a lot of success on those dingle dangles.. So thought i'd share it

Great clip thank you. Could you show/explain the sinker clip you used in the demo? It looked like you made one to fit on a standard pear sinker is that correct? I would love to see a close-up of it. Many thanks. Mike👍
