First off, you shouldn't put idols down because they are still creating legitimate music and yes they have to follow what a company wants them to do but so does Groovyroom. Secondly, idols get more attention because they are the ones that you see. They are the ones most in mvs and performing while Groovyroom are mostly producers so they are mostly behind the scenes and people aren't going to be exposed to them the same way as they are exposed to idols because they aren't constantly on shows like them and they are mostly on videos like these that you probably won't stumble upon unless you are already a fan.
