Dinitrogen and dihydrogen react with each other to produce ammonia according to the following chemical equation:
N2 (g)+H2 (g) → 2NH3 (g)
(i) Calculate the mass of ammonia produced if 2.00×10^3g dinitrogen react with 1.00×10^3 g of dihydrogen.
(ii) Will any of the two reactants remain unreacted?
(iii) If yes, which one and what would be its mass?

Ma'am I didn't understand why you wrote 1 mol of N2 reacts with 1 mole of H2 to form NH3=2.After that why you wrote 2/1×71.43 mol??

Agr ammonia ka molar mass 17 h toh moles toh uske 2 h jb balance kiye toh 34 g total nhi hoga jise 142.86 ke sath multiply kiya h

Hi mam one doubt, mam jaise ki jo elements ka coefficient tha humne use hi uska no. Of mole bata diya but it is stoichiometric coefficient. pr jb hume kisi bhi reaction mai element ka mass diya hua hota hai toh hum no. Of moles ko given mass by molar mass k formula se nikalte h.. Why? Vaha pr bhi coefficient ko hi no. Of moles kyu nhi Bata sakte?

Dear student, stoichiometric coefficients hume idea dete hai ki ek reaction me kitne number of reactants kis ratio me react kar rahe hai. Molar mass = Avogadro no. X molecular mass E.g Molecular mass of Ch4 = 16amu Molar mass of CH4 = 6.022 X 10^23 molecules X molecular mass = 16g/mol hi hota hai. But questions me molar mass k ilawa koi aur mass given hota hai. Thats why usse molar mass nai keh sakte.

Dear student, its unitary method. Agar apke pass 2 elements ki reaction given hai. E.g. 5 moles of hydrogen react with how many moles of oxygen to form water. Aap reaction likh k unitary method laga sakte ho.

Dear student., apne limiting reagent k moles k hisaab se hi no. Of moles find out karne hai. So yaha pe 3 X 71.43 kiya hai. Because hume 3moles of hydrogen k liye kitna amount of nitrogen chahiye. Ye mainly find karna hai.
