Most of people( including me ) after some hours playing ranked and losing and winning and getting frustrated over the game we forgot there is more about it than just summoner's rift or Howling Abyss
I didn't know about this channel at all, at first I thought it was another person reacting to X cinematic but when I listened to her explaining Lol's Lore perfectly I got goosebumps..
It's so refreshing to watch a LoL reaction from someone who actually knows the lore and isn't confusing Akali and Shen with Wukong and Master Yi (Yeah I've actually seen that happen. HOW?! 😅).

I've really been digging your reactions to these. They're not just filled with wows and omgs, but you also stop to take note and explain some of the lore tied to the scene. You're very knowledgable about the universe and listening to you is a very fun experience. I see this as a sub-worthy channel :D Also, I really do agree with people saying that you could do very good cosplays and make-ups for characters, so if you feel like doing any more of them, like the Pale Lady here, that'd be met with appreciation! :D
Dude for a long time being a Shen main I felt like my champ was forgotten by riot but I loved the comic showcasing the relationship between Shen and zed and how they rly were brothers and how Shen was forced to become the eye of twilight out of duty all thought he supported zed’s ideals of taking action to protect Ionia hints he was sneakily fighting the invaders at the beginning of the war but Zed’s killing of his father .... resulted in Shen taking a title he never wanted and I hope riot does a rework to shen’s voice lines in game
Fellow Loreseeker here! And by golly you know your lore well! Some things I wanna clarify. Not much because your lore knowledge is impressive. :3 They don't just weave trees to make houses there or make homes, they, in some cases, literally talk to the tree to provide them services. And the reason why Shen is the one having like an exclusive power for Spirit Realm projection is because he's the Eye of Twilight, one of the Three Leaders (Ideals) of the Kinkou Order. Also, yeah, canon or K/DA, Akali can never escape the Neon >: ^)
What I love the most about this video is that, usually, reaction videos are full of people who don't know anything about what they are reacting to (which is fine). But you are the first one who actually knows more about the lore than I do, and I respect that.
This was my favourite of the Tales of Runeterra shorts. The ending's music, visuals, and colours actually made me experience the same reaction as you and got me a bit teary-eyed!
I just found your channel. You explain the lore really well and I absolutely love ur enthusiasm! Also, glad someone finally mentioned how Akali and Zed are parallel characters. After reading the zed comics, I realized how how similar they are and how Shen corrected his father's mistakes with Akali by being extremely patient with her rebel phase, acting fatherly towards her and letting her go without a fight. My poor heart couldn't handle it.
I really thought this one teaches not only the lesson in Ionia but also in real life like if you take a life, you also have to give a life. If Ionia was in real life, no one will dare fuck with nature in the way that they are now. I loved this one more than the True Genius one because it had more of a story to tell and more content and I am a geek of lore too just haven't read them 1st hand but I do plan to. I've only been passing by Necrit but you've been teaching me a lot in a span of a little time. Thank you!
i saw your Darius video and jumped to this one...when you paused to explain about the Ionia nature and the treehouses i was like "daamnn...respect!!" and i liked. And i kinda "broke" the sub button when you explained the spirit world portal shen ulti explanation hahaha!!!

As you said, I think the way Zed's personality was shown in the comic is interesting, since the use of his mask would seem to be an allusion to a social mask to cover that he is basically broken by his life, but he cannot afford to be seen like this, that's why he's the "villain" that Shen needs
I'm honestly glad that youtube recommended your video this is the best reaction video I've ever watch on the internet that has useful lore information and and has LeBlanc as hostess.
I loved actually getting to see shen in a natural habitat, not when his emotions are charged up to 11 because of his emotions for Zed. His voice is so soothing and you can tell he's accounted for whats going to happen before the short even starts. Granted some emotion slips out when akali does her akali thing but it was nice getting to see 'Eye of Twilight' Shen. Also can i just say- his voice is so dam soothing in this short. Like i know shen has his issues and some people think he's the villain of the shen/zed story but dam if he doesnt have a voice that makes me want to listen to his lessons at nauseum.
Come on LORE KNOWLEDGE! Honestly I discovered this channel thanks to these lol videos and you are SO GOOD! It’s really nice to watch someone who understands the lore, pays attention to details and gets excited for all the right reasons unlike some people who just wanna see battle scenes. I just noticed that Shen’s spirit-realm vision looks like everything is under a black light, which makes perfect sense of why they had Akali under the black light in K/DA Popstars.

I did not knew much about Ionia, now I am interested! Shen also, has the same voice actor from Batman in my native language (Portuguese-BR), which makes him look really badass for me! The only story I’ve ever read was taliyah’s story interacting with i think yasuo? This was such a long time ago but yea. After watching all this cinematic videos with you really made me want to dive into the lore even deeper. Read the story rather then just hear league of legends champion quotes and try and match it with cinematic. Definitely worth reading, its good . Except ofc whenever i do read something league related it just makes me want to hop on league and play 🤣
The Spirit Realm and the Normal realm are technically the same world, Shen has a job to keep Balance between these two, and is the eye of the twilight, so because he is the eye of the twilight he has ohter and MORE power IN and OUTSIDE from the Spirit realm, so he can use techniques he learned for the spirit realm and so he helped the tree to get a big tree, and if he uses the spirit realm, or see through it, then his eyes are blue, but when he IS in the real realm he can still see through the spirit realm, and the spirit real inst lime an ohter world or smth, no its actually the same world, only with ohter colors, for example red: death, blue: neutral green: life, and in the spirit realm are a lot of ghosts (spirits) , who are trying to get in the real realm (physical realm) and Shen is trying to hold these back, for keeping belance, so he kills them or idk what he does with them, but shen CAN (don't has to) be in the physical realm (real realm) and see through the spirit realm, he don't has to choose in with realm he wanna be
Kinda random, but does everyone think that the slave from that noxus cinematic video should be like a new champion. She can be like an arch nemesis to Fiora and two of them would be rivals and duel fights all the time .
So, that girl actually does show up in the lore! You can see her standing next to Darius at the end of the cinematic and she becomes the Trifarian Gloryseeker in Legends of Runeterra!
