What a fantastic restoration ,looks even better than new, like most people would say ,would love this in my collection, great stuff. Looking forward to the next video . Stay well ,Rob.
That's a got restoration job. Even if I was born in 1965 I'm always amaze by the fact that I get to see models I don't even know that they were existing. BUT, I would really like to see more of bumpers and front grills (details) paint with an airbrush. It gives a way better and crispier look than brush painting. Keep on your good work. Luc
I was waiting for this one to see how you got on , you made a great job of it . The big washer on the bottom came off easier than mine . Again great job.
Really great job mate it turned out great, I’ve just got hold of one of these cranes so hopefully it goes as smoothly as you made yours look great work buddy 👍👍👍
Great instructions and I like the background music as well. I want to do one like yours but I have always had issues with super glue. Given a child may be rough with my restored toy, can you suggest something else in the way of rivets to hold certain items together? Seems like the large rivet application of super glue would come off after a bit? Thanks!
Hi Mike, story for late reply.thanks for watching my channel I have used pot rivets before but you have to be careful as you can split the pillar. Stay safe Geoff
Without the original peening tools used in the factory it is difficult to reproduce the restored rods after assembly,it is after all a restoration and makes a neat job of holding the parts together, how would you do it ?
Belle restauration, Bravo ! J'avais aussi cette grue Coles, vendue avec sa boite il y a bien des années. Si j'en trouve une dans cet état je vais m'attaquer à sa restauration. J'ai déjà restauré plusieurs Dinky de mon enfance. Nice restoration, Bravo! I also had this Coles crane, sold with its box many years ago. If I find one in this state I will tackle its restoration. I have already restored several Dinkys from my childhood ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5dtlywTlxBY.html ).
