Hi, I stayed at pop century last February for 2 weeks and i have coeliac disease. They were really good for breakfast, the waffles were amazing. We ate there at least once a day on our trip and the chefs were so good and I didn’t get I’ll atall. Loving the videos :)

We're so glad to hear that you had such an amazing experience at Everything Pop! We definitely need to go there for breakfast sometime. The restaurant smelled like waffles, and I (Sarah) was craving them by the end of our meal! Glad you're enjoying the videos too! 😍

We've only had snacks at Pop but we usually stay (and eat often) at Art of Animation right across the way. Our experiences have really depended on how busy they are and which chef is working. A busy breakfast they're accommodating but it's a basic breakfast. However when we've gone for a late dinner, we've often had chefs say "tell me what you like and I'll figure out how to make it." Those have been some of our favorite meals ever. Especially for gluten free, they have a ton of ingredients that aren't listed. If you're nice to them a lot of chefs will really work hard to make you something you'll enjoy. We also found that they often have allergen friendly desserts that might not be in the case so it's worth asking!

That's great that you've had so many amazing experiences at Art of Animation! We agree about being kind to chefs. We always try to make sure we're kind and polite and know that goes a long way -- plus, we really do appreciate all the steps chefs take to ensure we have something safe and tasty to eat. I think in our visit this day that maybe the chef was not having the best day, and we totally get that. They work really hard! It's been a long time since I have eaten at Art of Animation and Brandon never has been, so we'll definitely have to check it out in the future! 😊

Pop Century is our go-to resort. I'm so surprised how the chef said no substitutions for Brandon's mac and cheese, it isn't like any of the experiences I've had there! Overall, I'm glad you had a good experience and appreciated all of the feedback. Can't wait to be back at Pop this May! Also my vote for the decades is the 80s!

Thanks for sharing your experiences too! I (Sarah) have had great experiences at Pop in the past, and we always hear rave reviews about the chefs there, so we were a little surprised that the chef said no substitutions for the mac & cheese. We will definitely still go back though in the future. Hope your trip in May is amazing! And yay for the 80s!

You're welcome! I (Sarah) noticed immediately that the potatoes were full of a lot of garlic and the green beans too. We know that lots of folks can't have onion or garlic and wanted to make sure to give a heads up for that. 😊

I don't understand why the chef was confused that you were ordering your allergy order at the mobile station- that's exactly where I order it every time I go there. Now I'm listening to the part where he refused to substitute sides for you - this chef sounds like a real winner!! Oh man, he must be new or having an off day. I'm sorry you guys had to deal with that! I agree the chicken fingers and that gf cupcake are SO GOOD!! I ate too many of both on my last trip lol

In the value resorts they are less accomodating. They don't have gluten free bread. I'm always want a burger. I'm extremely happy they have gluten free cupcakes and treats. They didn't have that last time. We would go over to Animation huge dessert case and just be sad. I'm lactose intolerant too. I wish someone would get a frozen yogurt option

Aw that's a bummer you did not have a great experience there. The allergy-friendly menu at Everything Pop when we went recently did have allergy-friendly buns listed for GF sandwiches. We're guessing they currently have the Bloomfield Farms brand buns there (which are GFDF). It's great that they are offering some other options, like the resort made cupcakes, so were glad we could share that info! Hopefully, the resort continues to add additional options for guests with special dietary needs!

Your honesty is appreciated. I have stayed at Pop many times and always had a positive experience with getting allergy friendly food. So glad you both enjoyed your meals. Sarah, I am curious about the Salmon… was it fully cooked or sushi style? The menu description of “seared” is unclear.

We're glad we can share our experiences and are so glad to hear you've had great ones at Pop Century! For the salmon entree, it was fully cooked for me. It never hurts to double-check when you go and ask to make sure it's fully cooked -- just in case! 😊

Three stays at Pop. I found all of the chefs a bit rude. Almost like I was disturbing them. But, the g free tenders, fries and g free grilled chicken sandwich were all delicious. And you guys are sitting at the table where we always sit. Lol
