"He's like 'I'm tired. I wanna go to sleep' and I'm like 'Just do that. That's a thing you can do' and he's like 'No I don't want to. I wanna be awake.' I'm like 'Those are two different things!'''~Tim trying to negotiate with a baby LOL. In all seriousness, Jackson is adorable. You two are doing great
My fiancé and I were upgraded to a cabin back in October. It was like living in luxury. A whole house to ourselves. The best part was being in the hot tub at night and watching the fireworks over the contemporary.
@@abbiejoliec3133 We had one for about 10 years before he passed away from old age. We even put in cat doors to some of the rooms in the house that he'd go through. It was actually super funny to see peoples reactions when they'd come to the house and there was a rabbit just hanging out. But yeah they do chew everything and even if they're litter trained they'll still leave pellets occasionally >.
I love that part of parenting, everything you see is like seeing it for the first time through your child’s eyes. Share everything you love about life and this magnificent world with your kid, or someone’s kid if you don’t have one. It is amazing!
As my dad used to say, “If Christmas doesn’t end - it can never come again.” So if they don’t pack that huge tree away . . . And sweet Jackson really looks like he wants to say something.
Great to see all 3 of you out having fun. The more you take Jackson out the more he'll acclimate to being outdoors, and since he loves looking out the window so much, this is perfect. A nice quiet beautiful place to go. Plus "Bunnies"! Doesn't get any better than that. You are lucky you live in a warm climate. Pretty soon Jackson will be interested in looking at his surroundings and not sleeping so much. That is going to be awesome. Hugs to all.
The duck thing is a duck rillette, I guess it's more common here in Europe (I'm from Belgium). It's a preparation of meat cooked slowly in fat and shredded 😊 We usually eat it on bread but you can eat it on its own !
Another masterpiece you guys! Food looked great, I'll shall be suggesting that to the wife for our upcoming trip. You're kicking butt at parenting. Nicely done! Stay well!
First off...when you mentioned how peaceful it is, that’s why we love it so much. You are a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom yet it’s just so calm. It’s a great place to stay to get out of all the stimulation. Our favorite resort. Second, I really love the crab cake sandwich they have there. If you like crab cakes, definitely give it a try.
Hi Tim and Jen! Congratulations on the birth of baby Jackson! Been watching your vlogs for years! You’ve really enhanced our holidays to Orlando!! Thank you guys soo much!! Keep up the great work Fans, from Yorkshire England!
This was great. I love wilderness Lodge. I've never stayed there but it's on my list. You are so blessed to be so close to Disney. I love seeing Jackson more alert. Have a great day today!
I'm so happy you guys took Jackson. Getting babies out and about does so much good for them! And that food looks gorgeous. Can't wait for August for my first trip to Orlando. First trip to America and my first time flying actually.
@Heather Rosa thanks. Honestly I'm dreading the heat. I'm Welsh so the rains fine but I can barely stand it when the central heating is a little higher than normal. Ha. I'm already planning on buying a bunch of sunscreen as soon as we get to the hotel (and a travel size for the plane ride). Lots of water. Light clothes and a sun hat (maybe an umbrella for good measure, for the heat as well the rain). Any other ideas? 😊
We love Wilderness Lodge and have stayed there many times. Geyser Point is a great place to eat. Jenn, you may want to try the grilled portobello salad but substitute the grilled for crispy chicken (it’s served at the quick service window). It’s so fresh and filling!
Even if you don't see this comment, I wanted to say thank you. I've been a subscriber for quite some time, and so happy that I have. I'm currently going through a really tough breakup, and I have to say your videos have been such a help. Being a big Disney fan and both you and Jen make me smile. Thank you for posting - because I promise you, it's doing a whole lot of good.
When Jackson gets a little bigger go for a walk down the path from Wilderness Lodge to Ft Wilderness - we did it on our last trip and saw tons of wildlife including many many deer. Lots of fun!
Oh dang we missed you, we were there staying in Cabin 2006 for the week. We would have loved to see you, my 15 year old daughter is a huge fan. Next time you go to at Geyser Point I highly recommend the salmon. Super yummy. I ate it three times when we stayed there.
Greetings from Canada My husband and I ate there about 7 months ago. Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories. Bless your family.Love you guys xoxo 👪
Hi Tim & Jenn, It's great to see the two of you out and about again and little Jackson too. I don't know if you two know about this since your new parents. But there's this a respiratory infection called RSV that is extremely contagious to babies and toddlers. It is rampant right now. Adults can get it too but our lungs are mature and we can fight it off. Babies can't. Please check with your pediatrician about it and see if it's safe to be taking little Jackson out among people. I would hate to see him sick with it. I loved the video.
My all time favorite resort and when we lived down there my son and I used to stay there for like 2 nights. He loved the resort too. He really liked it when it use to have the sandy beach too. Love it, thanks for going there.
Tim- We were just staying there the past 3 days... just checked out and flew back to Austin Today. Sorry to have missed you! Would have said hi if we had seen you there! Perhaps give a couple days heads-up as to when you’ll be at a particular place. We ate at Geyser Point 3 nights straight. Could do without Red stuff on Bison burger it... good burger, just don’t get that red jam compote stuff. Best item on menu is the chicken sandwich... FYI. Best, Smiths
We just stayed at Boulder Ridge Villas and we loved it! Beautiful resort! We didn't get to try Geyser Point but I'm so glad you told us about the seating arrangements and gave us some tips on the food. We will be back in March for our stay at Copper Creek Villas. I'm super excited to see y'all taking Jackson out and about to Disney :)
We stay at Wilderness Lodge every year, that bunny family is usually 6-8 bunnies deep! And if either of you like grab, you HAVE to try the crab cake, it’s awesome! ☺️
Oh I LOVED LOVED RIVER COUNTRY TOO!!! I am soon to be fifty something next week and I totally agree best water park ever!! So glad the magic of Disney bunny's happened for you all!!
Ok I know I have said it before but I will continue to say how incredibly jealous that you live in FL and so close to Disney! I'm stuck inside because it's freezing out. This looks wonderful being able to walk around such a beautiful place!
As someone that grew up in Miami, I remember how exciting it was to see bunnies in the wild. Now that I've lived in the Midwest for almost 8 years, it's hilarious to see you guys so excited to see wild buns 😂
I think one of the first videos I watched of yours was when this restaurant first opened and you were eating breakfast. Tim I think you had the awesome mustache. Then you went on a walk to the campground and answered a bunch of questions
So cute!!!... Jackson is amazing 😍😍😍 love your videos and Jackson makes them all the better...once you have tiny humans no one cares about the adult ones anymore... lol 😂...and oh btw...a path can be a thingy... Mommy brain is real... Lots of things that used to have names now become thingies and it's ok... embrace the Mommy brain... good luck and keep up the good work with Jackson... I promise once they hit 6 months it becomes so much more fun...when you get through the first six months then you are golden 😊🥰😊
We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and ate at Geyser Grill in July. We also had the Bison Burger and Steak Sandwich -- both were AMAZING!! My boyfriend's steak was cooked perfectly when we tried it so I am bummed that Jenn didn't have the same experience. Worth a try again though!!
Hey Jen and Tim! Just dropping in to say hi, and also, if Jackson is having a lot of blow outs it may be time to go up a size in diapers, or change brands. Sometimes the weights on the diaper boxes lie, and if the baby is on the higher end of the weight (ex. 16 pounds for diapers that are for 10 to 18 pounds) they will start to leak or have more blowouts. Also, I am so glad you went out. I understand wanting to avoid the parks until he gets his shots, but you cant stop living just because you have a newborn. Have a great day! See you next time!
Hey guys I just want to thank you again very much for taking me away. I have so much enjoyed seeing your videos continuously. I have been taking care of my dad for 2 years and the last 4 weeks about 8 to 10 hours every day helping with nurses and staff. I did everything I could for him I have absolutely no regrets. But the stressful times and hard long days where I felt useless. You guys made me smile you guys made me laugh and you guys took me away from what I was dealing with and I want to thank you for sharing your adventure with me. It has been now three days without my dad. It will be a new normal I am now and then no folks Club. I had my dad for 55 years and my mom for 35 I feel so blessed and lucky. I don't remember seeing your guys's folks on the new videos do they not want to share their lives or are you on the same Club as me. Love to you both and Jack's. Thank you again! All my best love Shelley and Hugo
I greatly enjoyed Geyser Point when I stayed at WL in September 2018. I would definitely eat there again. I had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. WL does have a serene feeling to it. I will be going again sometime in 2021. YAY!
So those of us up North on the East Coast are dealing with 30 degree and below weather and snow, and you guys are in T-shirts, haha. I agree, this is definitely one of the cooler resorts.
Thanks for the beautiful day at wilderness lodge you guys picked a great day to go also glad to see you enjoyed your lunch and sorry that Jenn wasn’t as happy with her sandwich but there’s always next time and with that being said it’s time to pay the price
When you take your RV trip and do your 2020 resolution you should go to Yellowstone and stay at the Lodge there. Then you can experience up north wilderness and so real bison and moose and antelope and bunnies. Everytime you go to that lodge it reminds me of the one in Yellowstone.
I loved Geyser Point! I got a really refreshing portobello mushroom salad there. It was such a great option for a relaxing dinner and a great option if you want a break from heavy park food. I also got some kind of blue lemonade cocktail thing that was SO tasty! Would highly recommend!
Sorry Jenn's sandwich was so hard to eat, because looking quickly when I saw the menu, I would have gotten the same thing. That owl was so col! The bunnies were cute too. Big hugs to both of you, Jackson, and Bandit!!
I love the "We're not getting a bunny" (but it usually happens when you have a kid asking for one... I have grown up with mice, rats and hamsters. My sister fostered a bunny a few months ago and fell in love with her.) Anyway, I love the owl too! That is really hard to find them in day time. I did see a Great Horned Owl fly through the trees while I was hiking. I also seen them at sunset when I was at college in the middle of the forest/mountains. Pretty unique animal to see.
