It's really wonderful to see a cooking channel that is purely about food and the love of cooking...and NOT about egos or competitions (Food Network), oversized personalities and slick editing for comedic effect (anything Bon Appetit does), or famous celebrities. This is a real joy to watch, I love this!

I love her simple approach to hosting yet with yummy and room temperature food!! She’s too sweet and thoughtful ! Salmon dish is my kind of meal! I would love to eat at her house! I want her book because of the everyday practicality she gives it!

I'm reminded here of the time I lived in NYC in the 80's. I often times cooked for visiting friends. Many were surprised I could do such. Most knew me as Architect or Painter, but not as Cook! Yes, we all can do things outside our professions!

She makes like 20 gougieres for about 6 or 7 people. They're tiny and that would only be 2-3 per person! Definitely not a Southern lady. We cook enough for an army lol! It may be modest even but you will not leave our house hungry!!
