thank you Jesus for the promise of heaven...for taking my mum so quickly to shorten her suffering...the joy when she saw you face to face erased all that misery...
Thanks Dino for the wonderful reminder that earth is NOT really our home! He has been so so good to me, I will sing of the goodness of God! They ARE HOME now!!
Thank you Dino and Cheryl for your wonderful tribute to the Nelon’s. I was blessed to have seen them many times, one of my favorite family groups and also Gary McSpadden was one of my all-time favorite male vocalists, such an extremely talented, incredible voice and they are all now singing with the Saints, how beautiful heaven must be. Bill Gaither and others put together an amazing memorial service honoring them.
I grew up in the home of a Christian musical virtuoso whose primary instrument was the piano, so I always enjoy listening to Dino. He came to Belmont College when I was a student in the early 80’s so I heard him live. Still blasting my soul 🙏
Don't know if you remember or not, but I was one of the kids you minister to at Big Bare California at a kids camp there, I think it was late 1977 or 78 , I'm 66 years old now and retired. Still sing and play guitar. God bless you.
Thank you Dino, I’ve enjoyed you immensely over the years and was so blessed to have seen you live at North Phoenix Baptist church in the 80’s. I now live in TN. I’ll be in Branson 8/23 thru 8/29 Have been trying to find out if you’re performing somewhere, definitely going to have a piece of your carrot cake at your bakery. God bless you and Cheryl for many years to come. Thank you for sharing your talent, such a blessing 😇
I met The Nelons about 30 years ago. I met Rex, Kelly, her husband and and Charlotte Ritchie, when she was with them. I believe they broke into song. . ❤❤
I met The Nelons at a Christian Campground, in Georgia. As you know, Dino, they were such a gracious, kind, family. My prayers are with Autumn, her husband, and little boy to come. ❤❤
Dino is 80. He may also have a slight hearing issue so if he does play a little loud for you, it’s ok! Wish I could play a fraction as well! What a gift from God!! We are going old together!
