Nice video! I already knew all of these combos but I haven’t played in awhile so I felt like I needed a refresher and this definitely helped jog my memory.

Nice job on the combos. For the decklist, personally I think 1 archosaur 1 pill is far too risky, so i prefer 2 of both and that's alot more comfortable for me to play
I totally understand not wanting the risk on the 1 pill. I'm gonna start tallying how many times 1 pill hurts me and how many times it helps bc the case can be made that playing 1 has made the deck a lot more consistent. 2 pills is the safer route. Now when it comes to arch, i have to strongly disagree. I mentioned in the video that I like 1 arch bc I can still go full combo when i draw the arch. The same cant be said for drawing the pill.
Ground Xeno + Baby So I used to summon ovi off the first baby pop but then people mentioned to summon misc and immediately make barrone. I think the combo is interchangeable at that point but the reason was to play around nib and other handtraps like ash as some people dont ash ground xeno and wait for misc.
Exactly, so in all honesty I've gotten in the habit of doing it in the way i described in the video and that's why I put that message on the screen because I forgot to mention it. The smarter way to do it is how you mentioned it. Same end board and play around Nib. W comment!
Hello and Thank you for the comment!! The simple answer is because it's always best to summon your monsters in def mode, especially if they have a high def like UCT does. Avoids lightning storm, purrely otk, etc
Glad you liked the video! The URs that are a MUST are Lars, Dolkka, and Spright Elf(kinda). Everything else you dont always need. Some replacements you can do are the knightmare links or pentastag
I had to craft another lol and have you tried dark hole in dinos? I like it another way to pop baby last resort and if you have lost world you can protect the token as well as pop a baby
Yea in my scrap build I play dark hole and I do like it as a going second card and a potential 3 card combo piece. Sometimes it comes up with popping the baby like u said.
Lithos solid, I used to play it in my early dino days. I found it hard to sometimes get the 2 pops to be earth monsters consistently for that extra deck banish but when you do get it you'll usually win.
@kingmahde1 agreed, but I pop maxx c as well as a baby 90% of the time. Imo its just as effective as using Maxx c to draw especially against tearlaments. But I can see where it's lack luster and why people don't wanna play it
oh wait I know just realizing that you can't really do any big combo if you draw petite + ovi, am I seeing this right? or is there a semi good combo line even then?
Ovi search misc, misc summon arch, arch pop petite to search pill and summon xeno, ovi pop arch, bring back petite, xeno pop petite, summon frost and lv 4, go dolkka, lars, ucts. Hope this helps and makes sense
I've spoken with esccanor who plays the deck with s poly & gamma and he really likes it. Gammas a risky card to play but the payoff can be game changing. I feel like dinos can brick especially with the frostasaur so adding Driver on top of that is my biggest contention with gamma. Super Poly is just a broken card and you can never fault someone for playing it, especially if there's space in the extra deck. In this current format i prefer hand traps to board breakers, so Im liking the imperms especially in the snake eyes meta.
It depends on your definition of rogue. Some people say anything not in the top 3 tiers is rogue. Dinos is a very competitive deck and got top 4 in a recent Dkayed tourney. When piloted correctly it can easily get to Master!
why do you and other dinos players summon uct in defense position? i recently built the dinos deck and am trying to learn it. sorry for the silly question.
No not a silly question at all. The simple answer is that it has more than enough defense to protect itself from being attacked over and in case opponent has lightning storm. That is all it is. 😀
have you tried using kaitoptera instead of rex? horned saurus seaching ecole/lost world/diagram playing 40card seems to restrictive? or bricky? i tried playing a 60card dinos and i've never been so free
In this meta i dont like them as much bc lost world gives a free token for linkuriboh. I said I would try the ecole stuff today on stream so I'll get back to u on that. 60 card dinos doesnt brick for you? Ovi and misc are the 2 best cards for the deck so 60 cards would mean seeing them less I'd think.
@@kingmahde1 ngl ovi+misc is the best card in dino but drawing them together is difficult or atleast 1 of them + baby/petit. a 40card dino is sacky and restrictive. the card slot needed for going 2nd is very small. (a 2card combo is super slow for in-todays ygo) dino is very strong going 1st but can barely play now going 2nd. i think a 60card can solve those 2 issues: -consistency -boardbreaker/handtraps (as long as misc resolves dinos can win) that's why im experimenting a 60card version. so far out 15 games, i didn't bricked yet. cards im testing/including: -small world -lost world -diagram -lithosagym -visas -ecole -evoltile/evolsaur -scrap
lost world + baby/petit + dark hole 🤣🤣🤣 honestly dinos need a: 1card starter 1fieldspell + searcher just to keep up with todays meta decks 2 card combo is too slow and unless misc resolves, winning is almost impossible
@@youtubeenjoyer7279 i like your thinking behind it, but i disagree with it being restrictive. Yes dinos can brick (which is why I like lost world for the deck), but a lot of those side engines aren't great in my experience. I want to play ecole with the new fusion added, but it may have to wait until the meta shifts. Keep my updated with how the 60 card build goes!
If you dont have a baby or fossil dig, then you just got unlucky. Everything with this deck is a 2 card combo, so drawing misc and arch is as good as just drawing misc alone...no combo to make 😔
You hit the big red button and start again 🤣🤣. With 0 combo starters you can't do anything but hope your hand traps can help you survive. What pendulum deck do you struggle against because I rarely go against them but Dinos should have a good matchup vs most of them.
Why don't u include the fusion in any of the combos. It's better to pop the fusion instead of baby with UCT. it adds it baby back still and pops it to bring out Pank.
Good question: the answer is because doing so isn't better than getting out Lars and I wanted to show the rank 6 combo because when he comes next week that's what everyone will be doing. In future videos I'll try to include the combo you mentioned bc it's still a good combo to know. Thank you for the reminder!
@kingmahde1 it is possible to do both. Not sure if you're saying you were just highlighting getting out Lars or you're saying it's not possible to do both.
@@Beamin439 a bit of an exaggeration I'm sure lol. It does happen sometimes though with any deck really. I would suggest playing anywhere from 10-12 going 2nd cards with this deck, assuming a 40 card deck. Anymore will brick u up going 1st.
@kingmahde1 only a slight exaggeration. This is the least consistent deck I've played. I think I'm gonna drop the non essential hand traps like nib and evenly for a second petit and a second double Evo pill
@@Beamin439 if possible try my list and let me know how it works. I recently got top 16 in dkayed big tourney with dinos so the deck can definitely cook.
