I will say that this series did respect DinoBot to a certain degree, given that The Allspark quite literally saved his life here and chose him to save the others as seen later on.

@@yes4motivation Soundwave would've killed him here if it wasn't for The Allspark. Dinobot's cool but he's not crazy powerful, BW Megatron fodderized him. His appeal isn't being retardedly powerful, it's being super honorable.

Those versions of the Beast Wars cast were tiny and very weak compared to the G1 cast and the ones seen here rendering your point moot. Even if you want to make the argument that the Dinobot seen here is more skilled than most of the cast, his best feat is overcoming a hardly functioning Megatron (who could've killed Dinobot at least once but hesitated) before instantly getting fodderized by BW Megatron. You really wanna say that this Dinobot beats a fully functioning Megatron, the same one who regularly bitched out Optimus Prime and kept BW Megatron subservient even though BW Megatron kinda almost instantly killed Dinobot? If Dinobot was so strong, why was he afraid of openly rebelling against BW Megatron and doing it in a roundabout manner both times to begin with? I love Dinobot too man, but stop the fucking wank.
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 Soundwave was better than every character introduced in Beast Wars. And before you come attacking me (which I know you will because I’ve read through the other comments) I have seen Beast Wars. Soundwave has a cool voice, a cool design and great minions. He was second in command for a reason (there were basically three second in commands: Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave) and in the original show they cut back on him a lot, he doesn’t even appear in one of the seasons. He was in a majority of season one and then they slowly started cutting down his screen time with each season. Your hate for Soundwave has no base other than you love Beast Wars

When you think about it this is technically not the first time dinobot beat soundwave the first time he beat soundwave was when he became the first transformer to enter into the transformers hall of fame
This Soundwave literally lost to some transformers fury with a sword, so disrespectful, if it weren't for his awesome design I would call him inferior, like have you ever seen Tf prime Soundwave or Tf WfF/FoC Soundwave lose to anyone besides Prime?
So can anyone explain why Soundwave came back to life later on? I mean you can argue that Laserbeak took the impact of the sword but if that was the case, why did he shut down? It makes no sense.
