"Oh Dinosaurs still exist on this far away Island and aren't extinct?, well time to kill them all and harvest their bodies for Materials." The Devs were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
Rare run order, start at the Lion and work your way counter-clockwise towards the dragon. My wife and I have this down to a science and can complete a run in around 30-45 minutes depending on whether the T-Rex and the dragon are not there or there. For the T-Rex, you'll want to really hammer your sonic defences through the roof. He also likes getting stuck along side two trees. For the dragon, you want defences from acid, cold, and fire.
"the ultra rares will probably kill you, they are extremely dangerous... bring some buddies or prepare to die" You know... I've soloe'd Stonejaw ... the ultra rare T-Rex a number of times, without too much difficulty. It does take about 8-10 minutes to do it, but I solo it. But, I do of course use a Strimtom class build, so maybe that makes the difference 😉. I solo him with my "Death Knight" Strimtom build. He has some decent gear (nothing raid stuff), but still some lvl 20-25 gear (slowly phasing those out with the lvl 29-31 set pieces). I have not yet tried either of the other 2 ultra rares as I've never seen them!
i would just like to say black sands' desire is actually the worst of all the raid augments. it only applies 1 stack/1/4 sec, normal salt is 8, so it takes 8 hits instead of 1 to apply max debuff, thus making it next to useless since bosses are immune
Wow man, very helpful video. Thanx. If you ever run in Argo u may know me by the last name of Ironside in the High Rollers guild. Maybe we will even run this stuff together, twill be fun.
Secret to killing the T-Rex and dragon, Stay under them. Basically attack their junk. They are super easy to solo that way. When the dragon starts to fly, hug the wall of the cliff.
One question: At 16:40 you mention being able to wear multiple IoD bone pieces (You mention a glove, ring and necklace), but aren't all bone pieces considered artifacts, meaning you can only equip one at any given time?
Does that one Dino augment with enhancement spell power stack with most other spell powers? If so, that one seems really good! Also for physical damage toons, does anything in IoD replace that? I’d love to get the profane bonus but can’t figure out if that is a net gain or loss as PotF set bonus is so good! Thanks!
