I love hearing the genuine excitement in her voice, it's so nice to witness people doing/talking about something they love, even if you've never met them
You can HEAR the smile in her voice when she talks about what she does! This is someone who loves their job and loves making their customers happy! Idk it makes me so happy for her 🥰
I’ve seen plenty of people working the same or similar job and sound depressed about it. Attitude can be a big contributer to being happy at your job-ideal or not.
Don't force that on everyone else. I'm not 5 I don't need nor want to make cupcake cakes to be able to live. I'm an adult, I should be worried about quantum physics and helping my community. We shouldn't be holding your hand bc you have the iq of a child
When I was 7, my mom bought me cupcakes to bring to school for my birthday. 7 year old me didn’t know they needed to be carried uppright, as I walked to school. When I opened the cupcakes to show my teacher, I was devastated, cupcake ruin everywhere. She sent it to the cafeteria and I’ll never forget how amazing the lunch lady did at restoring the pile of cupcake, when it was time for the party, she walked in with a cupcake cake decorated like a Christmas tree, party was saved, I’ll forever be grateful.
can we all appreciate how much she loves what she's doing. like actually enjoys it while being rly good at it. give her a medal made out of cake or smn
the way you could hear her voice progressively getting more excited was so wholesomeee, i loved this entire thing. im an adult and i want a dinosaur cupcake cake from her for MY birthday now 😂😂
As a professional aunt to a 4-year-old boy and 2-year old girl, I can provide my expert observation that babies loooooooveeeee dinosaurs. They just do.
You mean being an aunt can actually pay the bills? I should have never driven my brother to that sterilization appointment! Everyone loves dinosaurs and if they don’t, I wouldn’t trust them.
I know it's not always the best opportunity but seek to change it up a little or change jobs altogether to make life more enjoyable, work consumes a lot of time after all I believe in you guys :)
@@kevinfart8389 theres no reason to compare. shes EXTREMELY talented at her work, its impressive. but there will always be someone better. its useless to compare someone to another. i apologize if this does not make sense, i am very tired right now
Bro this is one of the sweetest channels out there (pun intended lol) the way your enthusiasm shines through your voice is truly wonderful. I wish more people had the opportunity to take pride/joy from their work!!
@JohnsonHowordthats not what we believe in but ok ☠ also you don't have to be an atheist to not be christian, you can be muslim, Buddhist, jewish ect.
i love that you're like excited and bubbly about orders and getting to make something for a little one, instead of being bummed about your job. the energy rubs off on me. i wanna eat that.
First video I've watched of yours and I'm taken by how excited you sound throughout the video. Truly made my morning and I can't wait to see more. You're so cute🌸
I absolutely loved the fact that you threw in four extra cupcakes, not because you needed to, but because you wanted to add blue spikes to his back that's adorable
Im glad that when she wants to "change" something about the cake, she still respects what the customer wants. It’s sad that some people do the opposite
I don’t know if you personally deliver these to your customers but, if you brought me this, I’d invite you to the party or give a generous tip, if you accept them. You clearly love your job and you seem like a great person. Thanks for the mood booster!
The excitement in your voice when sharing about your cake gets me. I'm sure you made a lot of kids happy with this and will continue to do so with your other products. I'm also sure the happiness you give especially the kids is what mostly fuels your passion and work. Kudos!
When my oldest grand baby turned 4 she wanted a dinosaur, butterfly and princess party. We found a wonderful local bakery that made a Princess Dinosaur with sugar butterfly friends. It was great!! This made me remember that. Thanks!!
I’m sure someone’s already said this but I love that a little girl wanted a dinosaur cake. My mom would’ve wanted me to do something way more feminine as a kid. So I absolutely adore that these gender roles of girls must love pink, purple, fairies, unicorns, horses, Barbie dolls, and princesses (of course if a girl does like these things that’s fine my cousins daughter recently had a Magic themed party and there was no shortage of her favorite color pink, unicorn stuff, mermaid toys as gifts, and toy plastic wands some kids even arrived in princess costumes. I came to help out with planing and to actually make sure my younger family members have fond memories of me. I just wore something colorful.)
I'm sure your cousins really appreciated you! My daughter is borderline girly. Ex: She wanted a little mermaid party, but she had to be a zombie! It was hilarious seeing people react to the cake and decorations 😂
My 3 y/o lil girl is obsessed with dinos and mermaids right now. They sell way more “girl” stuff with them these days, it’s super cute. But I remember being pissed to have to share a dino bday cake with my brother as a kid bc i thought they were a boy thing
I hate that things are so gendered so I like to see it too! I honestly never liked dinos but as a kid I really liked things like pokemon which idk if that's"boyish" but I know boys liked it. My bday is 11 days before xmas so I just remember looking back at bday pics from childhood and I thought it was so funny I had a grinch cake 😂😂
She’s wondering why people are ordering so much dinosaur cakes, but forgot the fact that dinosaurs are seriously cool. Edit: these people get it Edit: checked again and there is some drama here…
That overall green you created is so pretty - it's like a Chartreuse. Love it with the robin-egg-blue accent! Imma seriously consider that color scheme for my living room, lol.
Speaking as a former Dinosaur Kid: There's a 50/50 chance that the kid who got these cupcakes was upset because they got a sauropod with stegosaurus plates. EDIT: And because apparently it doesn't go without saying, that doesn't reflect negatively on your work. I was making a joke about how dinosaur kids are sometimes obsessive about accuracy, and are too young to have any sense of proportion about any inaccuracies they find.
I understand what you are saying, lol. My 3 year old nephew and niece were always shaming me during their dinosaur obsession period for being able to identify nothing beyond Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus and Triceratops despite being college educated. Apparently my childhood science teachers failed me. Meanwhile, they knew about 142 subspecies that I never knew existed along with every fact about each including diet, behaviors, physical features, and sounds. The younger generations are doggone dinosaur savants. They WILL call us out!
Nothing better than a creator getting high off her own supply! I love that enthusiasm! Gorgeous cake! Absolutely fantastic! I wish you could record the child's reaction! I know they are going to love it!
First time coming across your channel and may I just say the joy I hear in your voice is infectious; I'm just happy to be here watching this 😊 and yes the cake is adorable!!
This is always so funny to me, because what other member of the animal kingdom is “gender specific”? Imagine not being allowed to like a toucan because you’re a boy…
@@TheoP-qq6sv some parents wouldn’t buy things with dinosaurs on them for their daughters because in their minds girls shouldn’t like them. Same thing with boys not getting things with princesses on them because boys aren’t supposed to like that. It’s an archaic way of thinking really, let kids like what they like.
I know a lot of people hate on cupcake cakes, but I think they're absolutely perfect for occasions like these. A cupcake is a perfect serving size for a young child, and much less overwhelming than having a huge traditional slab on a plate. Plus this cake is just adorable.
I can confirm most cake decorators are this happy, all 5 of my siblings have done it before and each one of them was so upset to leave work. I wish I was upset to leave work like that 😭
I love love love art all kinds.. even bodies are art so I’m forever self employed as well. Doubt it me only brings out the spite in me I will never quit art (haven’t really had a lot of doubt in my art anyway though actually)
Because people are finally realizing that dinosaurs are amazing. All prehistoric animals are so interesting I would have loved getting a dinosaur cake when I was younger if I knew it was an option. But I might get a dinosaur themed cake in the future so don't let age bring you down. You're allowed to have any interests you want even if they seem childish.
I’ve been watching so many of your videos and just wanted to say- scrolling through these really makes me miss the job I had as a cake decorator. I left because I was going through a very difficult time with my mental health, and it didn’t help that the management was disorganized and the drive was 45 min each way. I know I did what was best for me, but through the rose colored glasses I miss that job so much. It was an endless creative outlet. So I guess I’ll have to reminisce on that job and just watch what could have been right here :)
aww, I'm sorry to hear about the struggles you had during being a cake decorator. However, I'm very happy you enjoy my videos and am so happy you're hear! The best part for me is the creativity - it's my happy place
You could find another creative outlet you can do just to keep the creativity within you going like zentengle or anything else, i know for me if i go too long without being creative it drives me nuts 🙈
For the abundance of dinosaur cake requests. Here's a small theory: In the US the covid shutdown happened in summer. People had more time to themselves and eventually ended up parents with babies with birthdays now in spring. And now these kids are maybe 3 year olds and ready for a dinosaur obsession ✨️🦖🦕
