the crowd seems to be local youth mostly, that clearly never heard of Dinosaur Jr , they stand and listen, never being aware that they saw one of the greatest bands around

I bet everyone went home, got on RU-vid, and fell in love with the "new" band of old men they heard that day. Dino Jr. was the soundtrack of my youth... I'm an old man too now!

been seeing these guys since my first concert when i was 17 in 1994....46 years old now and i still try to catch them every year!..its usually what gets me and my buddies off our old married asses for a night out!

I dig the cool way the bassist bang the shit of that bass. For you people who think Norwegians looks stone faced, you’re kinda right that we’re reserved. Especially in Oslo. Yet this festival started out as real sitting and chilling out in the park festival and grew bigger. I’m sure Dinosaur Jr is completely unknown to most of this crowd. BTW. really great recorded live show. Best I’ve heard of them.

Wow! I've seen videos of them playing all of these songs but this is the first time i'm seeing a live version of Pick Me Up. That solo was eargasmic!

I agree with the description 100% this video should have over a million views it rocks. The version of bulbs of passion crushes the original album version and love the set list. This band is so way ahead of its time our kids will be rocking to dinosaur jr in 2030, and I'm glad I had the privilege to see them many times!!

The sound was weird this entire show. J's vocals are really low in the mix the entire time, Lou's mic is either not on at all (Bulbs of Passion) or really fucking loud (Just Like Heaven), and you can't even hear J's guitar during Been There All The Time (except for the solos, for some reason.) They're playing phenomenally, but technical difficulties keep popping up.

does anybody know which pedals he uses for his solos?

The tracks on here from Beyond are on fire. 20 times better than the albums versions. The production is so weak on that album - Not enough Lou and Murph in the mix.

:) 31:05 During "Crumble" that one group of cute Norwegian girls up front seemed to dig the music, but not many others. I think that the general attitude there seems to just stand/sit there and listen to the music instead of expressing it outwardly. From the Melvins Norway set I gathered as much as well. Oh well, what a great setlist.

to dejan that said "coldest audience ever" I could understand why, some of them probably never even heard this band before. The best illustration is someone reading the bible for the first time. Probably like what the heck. this is different, but just like the greatest book in the world the greatest band in the world takes time and effort in what is put in to it to appreciate.
