Thank god they were able to restore this scene because I love how in universe he is so high that he is singing a song that wouldn’t be written for Millions of years.
@@anonymoususer208 Yeah, I actually said that too to 1 of my (now former) co-workers before I left the store after I got fired. I went to the spot where we worked & he asked me what was going on & I said, "Well...I've been fired. (sigh) Bummer. Oh well." But no, I didn't sing Purple Haze 😄. This was actually almost 9 years ago now since that happened.
Man the way they completely demonized that plant throughout the 80s and 90s is amazing. I wonder if I could've evened out just a little bit better knowing what I know now.
@@StarWarsMoments Hey, dumbass, I was responding to someone else's comment, but at some point over the last decade, the thread was broken up. This has happened with a lot of the older videos.
I was shocked to find out that this scene was edited on the home release and certain streaming services, I guess it must've been a copyright issue... it seems to be fixed because on Disney+ the scene is left intact with Purple Haze included.
I actually bought this episode since it was banned on Disney+, they actually dub over a different song instead of using purple haze, the Disney+ version used it but it's lame that the only way to hear this is on dvd unless that was changed too?
When Hendrix and The Doors were the perfect antidote to the likes of vile Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley. Stock Aitken &Waterman masters of brain dead bubble pop
Disney would have had to pay to use "Purple Haze" when they licensed the show to stream on Amazon, and they apparently didn't want to do that. Fortunately, they have seemingly changed their tune since then as this scene is shown unedited on Disney+.
So complaining on the internet about 2 minute a clip from a tv show that was canceled 20 years ago is a sign of someone who has their priorities straight?
This show got away with a lot of adult content. Here Richfield is openly talking about doing drugs. I love the 90s. I thought things would only get more interesting and controversial as time went on but 2001 changed everything. Now, the best you can get is bathroom humour and penis jokes. Nothing intelligent.
