I love every Jurassic movie and watched them. Everyone is entitled to your own opinion.

Well, if you look at the scene immediately beforehand, he wasn’t even there… poor dude must have been a time traveler or something that was just teleported there only to be instantly eaten

If you don't care for these than just watch the first three from 1993 and 1997 and possibly the one from 2001.

At some point, common sense flew out the window in these movies. Dinosaurs are reptiles. They don't do well in cold weather. Yet they're in snowy woods and swimming in ice cold water. Owen is bonded with Blue and trains her and the others. Now they're doing a chase scene. They segwayed into Dino Fast and Furious.

I was wondering why they could keep up with the dirt bike. But he could come to complete stops at intersections and take off before the raptors already running full speed couldn't close a 7ft gap and get him.

@@andrewsun7898 Standard action movie rule. If a plane is taking off and the good guy needs to chase it on a vehicle, his vehicle will always be slightly faster than the plane. Not enough to make him catch up easily, but enough that it will look close as he jumps on board in the nick of time, right before the plane takes off. However, if it's the bad guy chasing the plane, then his vehicle will be slightly slower than the plane. It will look close, but he'll always be just a little bit short of actually catching the plane before it inevitably takes off after the bad guy misses catching it by a hair and is forced to watch it take off without him.

I think JW was pretty good tbh. Way better than JP3.

I think they just looked at the utter train wreck that JW 1 and 2 were and thought "Ah fk it."

@@jamesduffy7549 the main issue is that he is riding away from a place of safety(the building). Most people would have attempted to go in the building and bunkering down inside a small locked room(where the big dinos can't get inside). If the guy really wanted to go somewhere else, did he really need to go right down the middle, out in the open? 😆

That, and everyone else in that scene was already mid scramble to escape. He genuinely seemed surprised there was a large and very loud dino behind him. It's like that scene from Life of Pi where a tiger just eats a meerkat Infront of the other meerkats, and it did nothing to escape.

@@283518 Not even a minute. Most cheeta full out chases are under 30 seconds and they are wiped out afterwards.

Have a look at how fast, far and long a pack of African wild dogs can chase down prey for.

@@Behemoth9030 Because they work in large packs and have dogs typically spaced ahead of the prey to take over. This is basically one raptor going full out for miles. There isn't a single shred of scientific theory that shows them as marathon runners instead of short range sprinters like say a cheeta.

Funny thing is they have way more endurance in Vids than ostrich which are far better built to be endurance runner than raptors..

In the first movie a Velociraptor doesn't catch a 11 year old kid with a broken leg that's like 5 meters from him. Are we supposed to be scared of those things?

Seems you diden’t watch the movie. These dino’s were specifically made for war or assasination. A laser were to be pointed at the designated target, and the dino’s would chase and kill the target and stop at nothing else.

If they were alive today, yes they will kill us and eat us, it depends on their physical ( food poison or virus of human they have inside their body ).

When predators take a prey item, you notice that the remains usually are skin , hair and bones.... They eat around most the stuff they can't digest .. if they ate you , there would be , shredded clothes everywhere. But almost all of it would be present..

I'd argue no. The higher up a species is on the food chain, the less energy and nutritional value a predator gets.

This whole movie has so much wrong with it, and the biggest problem I have with this movie is that it completely disregarded nearly everything that was set up at the end of Fallen Kingdom. And the Dinosaurs get horribly overshadowed by the Locust plot which was very out of blue.

Don't know what you have against electric scooters, but yes, being able to run at top speed for that long is extremely improbable. It's just a silly thrill-ride of a movie, you can't take it too seriously.

Why didn't they eat the many people standing or walking around instead of chasing a bike for 10 minutes?

​@@Zaloomination The Atrociraptors were genetically engineered to hunt down a specific target that was marked with a Lazer Targeting System, that was in the previous Film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Their goal were to kill their targeted prey and be obedient to their owners.

Or she's trying to to hurt anyone around them and cause even more harm than what the Dinosaurs are doing? Also, the tanks wouldn't distract it from Claire. She's been target by the lazer targeting system and won't stop until it's either dead or knocked out, just like what happens.

The Dinosaurs were just set loose in Malta, I don't think the military or police district there would be getting informations on the loose Dinosaurs until a few minutes or so. And besides, the French Intelligence are in said location, they might have called for their assistance after they got attacked by the Atrociraptors and the Black Marketers.

They had guns in their hands when those raptors were released. 😅 Why they didn't shot them is a mystery.

That is my main complaint of this scene. As much as try to defend this movie, this scene is pretty inexcusable. I'd assume he was deaf, but he would have still felt their vibrations and stompings.

Like it or not the JW films have a audience since each film made a billion at the box office. I enjoy all the Jurassic films.

When i first watched it in the theatres, i was like ok...even tho im also a fan of chris pratt. And just like you, I am a fan of JP, and i re-watch the first jurassic park...ALL THE TIME...and i re-watch jurassic world...and it just doesn't fit for me...Like i get it, even the dinours in JP aren't real dinosours but at least the perception of them were real at the time and even now..but Jurassic world, they aren't even real dinosaurs in concept, and so then what makes this any different than a flashy monster movie? Nothing. There is nothing different about it, its just a monster movie. Second and most important, whats with all the CGI? the CGI is garbage, how am i supposed to re-watch the same show as a JP fan if the cgi isn't good? JP3 CGI seemed better to me, its like they try to hard with this new CGI, and theres way too much of it, nothing is left up to the imagination. The animatronics they use are only for like small dino's. Like i said before its not like i set out to hate JW, but the more i rewatch JW 1, the more i saw issues and began to realize why i didn't like it. I grew up in the 90's so im used to a lot of CGI, but i know when to say its too much. I think this is partly why people like trailers, because it doesn't show the whole story or picture and people are curious, and it was the same with JP it didnt flesh out everything which made people curious, but now that in JW we see every angle, everything can be told with lazy CGI instead of going through the trouble making large animatronics at key points, and even leaving some parts up to the viewer, its become lame and old. Thats my theory, but like i said if we're fans, we need to up our standards

I think their training is not perfect, they are angry, see different targets, they sometimes try to bite, but still follow the scent of their actual target. I actually like it. They are animals after all, they are not perfect soldiers.

They make a point on explaining that the raptors were bio-engineered and trained to focus on whatever the asian lady villain pointed at with a laser. They weren't hunting prey for food which is why they ignored the pedestrians, they were focused on ripping Owen apart.

tell me you didnt watch this movie, without telling me you didnt watch this movie... Sprint thing I agree - targeting only one prey was explained already in previous movies. All of the dinos in JP franchise are genetically altered. In JW trilogy you get a lot of militarized dinos, many of which can have their target selected by laser and then they dont lose their scent until they have tear them to shreds. They are trained to do so + engineered to behave that way.
