@@allbottledup9513True, I heard Dion say in an interview he wrote the song "Runaround Sue" with his childhood neighborhood friend Ernie Maresca about Susan, who Dion met 16 or 17, he says in his book "The Wanderer" on their first he date spelt his milkshake all over her dress, and ended getting married to Susan in March 1963.

We saw Dion (2) times in Rochester, Michigan at Meadow Brook on the Oakland University campus by the Dodge Mansion in the 1990's & he put on a great concert! We sat right up front about 5 rows back. Also, at the concert were the great Everly Brothers! What a show for they did all their hits! The Wanderer gets everyone rocking! Dion still has it!

This man was at the start of R&R!! He played with Buddy, Bopper, Valens, and he was right up there with Buddy Holly as one that wrote his own songs! I am truly in AWE of this man!

I looked forward to him coming back to Westbury on last time. I had tickets & I had to miss the show because I had surgery earlier in the week. I wish I was able to make the show.
