Ooooh my gosh, I thought I was the ONLY one that didn't like that original highlighter palette because I could only use the top 2 shades (and I'm Medium) and this new palette makes me want to scream🙌❤ So beautiful

Have the primer and the palette. I agree with you. Primer is ok, but nothing special. Palette is nice, but not amazing. Looking forward to getting the 2nd highlighter palette though, as I still love the first one!
Mel I love your channel so much....I can always rely on you to feature brands that I'm interested in that may not be the hot topic of RU-vid....but more than that I appreciate that it's honestly just product reviews and not a disguised infomercial. Safe place to just enjoy makeup without feeling like a mark all the time.

I’ve been dying too see your review on this, I was lucky enough to get this palette about 2 weeks ago (UK) and I’ve been loving the 2 bottom shades absolutely stunning 🤩However I was apprehensive about the two top shades with having that glitter effect but watching how you used them has helped so much, thank you Mel gorgeous look as always 😘 Xx

I do prefer this over the viseart one. It looks like there is less fall out from this pallette than the viseart one🤔 also I'm that natural girl soooo Dior one is more appealing to me😂

Hi Mel, I love the eye look you created you look beautiful. I ordered the eye palette as soon as it was released on their website at least a couple of months ago. I like the softness of the shades. I also have the new highlighter palette that I ordered from the Dior Boutique in N.Y. I am only 40 minutes frm N. Y. But rarely go into N.Y. city but I am in a city and we have everything where I live. In fact in walking distance a huge Bloomingdales and Nordstrom will be opening soon. I have the full line of Dior Backstage and love it.
I just started following Alicia recently and ADORE her! I’ll definitely check out Kelsee’s channel. I think that the Amber Neutrals palette is gorgeous and love the look you’ve created. Thanks sooo much, beautiful🍃🌸.
I tried the backstage primer on my daughter and I think it worked great but she didn’t need it because she is more dry, but for me combo in Texas heat, it’s a godsend 😂 i haven’t gotten the highlighter but that’s on my to buy list.
Lovely review Mel. I don't have many eyeshadows and only have two palettes and this is one of them. I love this palette. I have dark warm skin tone and this is a beautiful warm neutral palette for beginners specially with darker skintone. I love the darker matte shades, they are so easy to blend. I like the fact that the shadows are softer and you can build the intensity if you need. I can use every single shade and don't feel overwhelmed with this palette unlike many other palettes. Also, that red shade is amazing! Easy to travel with too!

Morning Mel! Not into Dior or can afford it but do wonder how the juvia's place foundation worked out. The highlight palette looks pretty. I'm a combo or even oily it's a struggle..and tend to break out...sucks. Sweet that your daughter helps with swatches..
I have the first face palette and use the pink and bronze shade as blushes....and they are beautiful, especially the bronze shade. I have a feeling the 2 darker shades in the vol 2 will also work as blushes on fairer skin. Anyone who has the first face palette needs to try the darker shades as blushes...you will be surprised as how stunning they are.
I am LOVING the eye palette and primer! Can’t wait to get my hands on the highlighter palette! Actually I use the primer after applying the silk canvas and omg flawless skin!
Afternoon Mel. Beautiful eyeshadow look as always. Apart from the odd lip gloss I haven't bought Dior for years. I much prefer the Viseart eyeshadows but the face palette maybe worth a closer 🔍 look. The idea of using bronzers/highlighters on my eyes appeals to me 💖.

I love watching you! Even though I’m too poor and will never be bougie enough to buy Dior haha I also have too much makeup. I just filmed a lipstick declutter and wow I didn't know I had that much as a not-professional-makeup-person. The Glitz palette reminds me of a limited edition highlight Dior had years ago called Amber Diamond. Pure gorgeous-ness! Re the primer: I'm significantly older than you (49) and the primer is perfection for me. It totally blurred everything for me (pores, fine lines and wrinkles) and did everything my Farsali Skin Tune does but at a lower price and not having to deal with the obnoxious dropper. Now I want to try the Face and Body foundation. Light-medium coverage is my sweet spot. I can't remember if you reviewed it or not?
Yet again another great tutorial. I have picked up so many skills from you. I wear a more no makeup look (part of my uniform regulations) but am getting more adventurous on time off. I have also bought so many of your recommendations which have all been amazing. I want some Tatcha stuff but I have to save my pennies for that as in Australia 🇦🇺 it’s insanely expensive (as is all makeup). Then am onto Neulash and my aim is for “Mel’s lashes”. lol.
Honestly, I mostly don’t use primers unless I’m foregoing all other makeup that day. I like the differences in my skin, esp. if a sunscreen has a bit of a shine to it or my pores seem visible that day.

Mel thank you for reviewing these. I use Tacha as a primer and just got the Dior backstage foundation. I am interested to see how the Dior primer lasts.
Phaedra McMillian well, they ante very similar... this one is more highlight geared whereas the ND has an actual bronzer, cream and powder highlights of different textures
Hi, Mel, I really enjoyed this video and it’s tempting me to get the highlight palette after I’d already written it off because or the glitter in the top two shades. How glittery are they?
For me it is just the opposite experience -> I bought the Dior glow face palette 002 and I wanted to love it soooooo much (because I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the number 001)... b-u-t unfortunately I am a litte disappointed in it :((( The colors and the glitz factor are not as popping as I hoped it would be. If you want a tiny bit of glitz and a tiny bit of glam, then ok. But I wanted more, I wanted the VAVAVOOOOOOM of the first palette. And it doesn't deliver. It's just -> Yawn. :((( It is not worth the bucks in my opinion. Me sad.
Mel loves Dior's highlighters! I really like them too. I brought the Holo gold and peach, and the first Backstage palette highlighters after watching your videos. The eye shadow palette is too similar to other eye shadows I own. I have so many highlighters so I'll pass. I'm curious about the trio eye shadow palettes Dior is getting ready to release. And I also want the Dior Coral pop blush but I don't want to spent $40 on it lol

Hi Mel - another great video! I am preparing a Beautylish order and was hoping to get your assistance. I purchased my first bronzer (thanks to your videos) and I picked up the Fenty Beauty one. Could you please advise which brush would be the best one to pick up for this bronzer? Your bronzer always looks perfect and I remember you mentioning that the brush that you recommend depends on the type of bronzer.
