I’m delighted that Dior has a neutral foundation shade that might be really neutral. Anytime I’ve tried their foundation in the past, I found the shades too warm for me and oxidation was almost an accelerant for more warmth. My sister, who quickly inherited my purchases, was one happy camper. Personally, I can’t wait to try this new one and have my fingers crossed. Thanks so much for the review, which was helpful.
I like how the new one is less warm. I always found 2N in Dior too warm/orange. I think the new one looks lovely on your skin. I also LOVE that lip colour on you 😍😍😍
Really pretty! Yes, the new formulation seems less warm and slightly lighter. I’m tempted to try it now that alcohol is not so high up in the ingredient deck. I have acne rosacea, and I try to avoid products containing alcohol & fragrance. Interestingly, it doesn’t bother me in Chanel’s Water Fresh Tint. The main difference I seem to hear from reviews is that the old formula is more of a natural soft matte finish and the new one leans a bit more luminous.....this is one of my favourite foundations and I'm a combo lady so I'm.kinda scared to try it....

Thanks for the new formula info. I have the former but keep it in fridge and 3 n works for me on chest, neck , &legs, but need darker summer shade, or new glasses? Lol for august .I love it for fast good looks in the heat!
Thank you for the comparison! My skin does not do well with alcohol so high up in the list. I may take a look at this new version since alcohol dropped down in the list. I pay zero attention to the marketing labels of "natural" "clean" "medical grade". I use what works for me.
I never tried this because alcohol was so high on the list and I have very dry skin. I stay away from foundations with high alcohol content. Now I think I’ll give it a go.
Works best with a beauty blender. Setting it with an HD powder (translucent) help reduce texture a lot. Spray a fine mist of water on top and you're good to go.
I still have the older formular, which I love in our hot/humid climate. Love your review. from Winter (warm) in Australia. Not looking forward to Summer.

I have loved the face and body and noticed my bottle is half empty so during this Sephora sale I bought myself a new formula bottle but noticed they got more shades added to the range so I bought a slightly different shade in .5N my old formula was 0N so thank you for this video to know if I do decide to exchange that the new one shade will match my old one. Now here’s my question did you use the primer and if so did you use the old or the new one ? Curious if they are different as well or so similar not worth restocking until my old one runs out. 🧐

I agree the swatch and bottle of the old formula looks a bit warmer, Do you think the old formula oxidized in the bottle a little over time compared to the new formula in a fresh bottle? As an example, my ABH Luminous foundation I bought and loved last summer is a much warmer shade this year. I am a true neutral and it was perfect last summer. Kinda bummed out.
I was hoping they get rid of the fragance, since I like the formula so much but I noticed that irritates my skin. I'll give it a try now that alcohol isn't one of the main ingredients
Anything after 7th ingredient there is less than 1% of the ingredients. I have the old one . If I put all skincare and spf I never had a reaction but I never wore more than a couple days . Changes why ? Dior why ?????
Ha ha - yes, everything in the world is made of chemicals. Sand is made of silicon, as is glass. But maybe we don’t want sand or glass on our skin full time?
Love the side by side comparisons. I’m nearing the end of the bottle of the old formula and I’ve been dreading the switch to the new formula, as I was worried it wouldn’t measure up. Texture wise the appear identical on your skin. Yaaaayyy! I wear 2WO and have heard some say the shades of the new appear lighter but that could just be fresh foundation vs aging product that’s older.
