I bought this in 2008 and wore it all the time! I was in my mid 20s. Used it up and bought a second bottle, which I still have and started wearing again recently. It is such a well-crafted fragrance. Back then, I bought it at the drug store for $65.

One of my top three favorite fragrances ever. It’s so abstract but it really does smell like a cold, slightly sad beach.

Dune was the first fragrance my husband (then boyfriend) gifted me in 1996. I loved it then and just last week purchased it online from Dior. I was so happy to find it again and realized how much l had missed it.

I love to hear the memories tied to scents. Dune is a beautiful scent, unfortunately most people don’t even know it exists. Hopefully 🤞 they don’t cut it. That would be awful 😞.

I love ❤ this perfume. Have been wearing it since I was a teenager. I also love Amarige, Jadore, and Lolita. Wonderful perfumes in my opinion.

Hmmm ... I just bought a 30ml on eBay. Maybe that size was discontinued. Doesn't matter to me as I def think it's "full bottle worthy." Love it. As with many fragrances it's more enigmatic the longer I wear it.

It’s definitely a hidden gem. This scent comes alive on the skin. It’s one that would disappoint on a card.

Have you considered a review of Dune Pour Homme? I wonder if it would in some sense compliment the notes within Dune?

I hadn’t thought of it. But if you’d like to see that, I’d be happy to do so. It’s been forever since I’ve smelled this scent. Dior pulled it from most of the stores when I was starting with them.

@@vscents5674 I would be interested in your review, but your audience for such a review might be extremely small, given that the fragrance has been more or less off the market for so long. Probably your efforts would be better spent on more current fragrances, but that having been said, if there is a lull in the new stuff, a review of Dune Pour Homme might be interesting, contrasting it to Dune?

I have this and it seems to be a collectors item now. Can it make a good signature scent? Is it worth holding onto or can I sell it off to a friend who really is eyeing it?

I love the fragrance. It smells like what you would picture the sand in a desert to smell like. It’s very underrated. I can definitely see it as a signature scent.
