Your OG formula bottles look gorgeous. I have Pure Poison in the current formulation, with the purple cap, and the sandalwood in it is quite soothing and smooth. Really lovely sandalwood and that’s my main reason for owning it, it’s the dry down. Your nails are phenomenal, by the way. Also, adrer watching your many videos, I ordered an oil perfume dupe of Midnight Poison and am looking forward to getting my nose on it. Dupes aren’t usually a perfect replication, but it’s the only way I’ll ever get to try anything close to the original ❤

Testing both along with you (my puffer sprayer leaks somewhat, so I decant) the orange blossom and resiny base for the Elixir seems more apparent up front than the OG both are stunning and I’m glad I finally fell for this white floral Queens. When this first came out it was animalic and intense on my skin. Now it’s lovely. Amazing how skin chemistry changes as we mature :)

Hi Gabi! You’re so lucky to own the o.g. formulation of Pure Poison. I owned the new formulation and it just didn’t perform on me. I’m totally in love with the scent though… The Elixir sounds divine!

I’m convinced now that I must try Pure Poison ❤ I do have a question. I’ll search your videos some more but have you ever reviewed or commented on Tuvache’s Jungle Gardenia? Apparently my grandma wore it in her younger days and I do miss her. She made it to her 100th bday though. She was the kind of grandma who dressed like Jackie O, had interesting and sometimes eccentric friends, would discuss mysterious subjects and watch In Search of with Leonard Nimoy while sharing a plate of toasted coconut marshmallows. Oh how I miss her! I’m saving for a vintage bottle in her honor but she had stopped wearing it not long after I came along. The vintage bottles I see online are so old, I’m uncertain what it will be like.

I must say, I don't have any Poison bottle... Although Pure Poison is quite nice. By the way, I found a 30ml of Eden for a good price at the pharmacy today. It's smelling kind of sweet on me. Very difficult to pin point notes, although it contains a bunch.

I did not get to purchase the elixir. I do have Pure Poison and I love it. I am sure it is the reformulation version it has a purple cap. I would continue to purchase it and love it for spring and summer.

I love the fact that the orange blossom is more toned down in the pure poison. It’s a more clean type of orange blossom. I have not tried the elixir. The poison line is a such a good classic!!🦢🌟

I've got 30 ml Pure Poison Elixir about 15 years ago and it's still sealed because I'm not just an addict, I'm also a hoarder who thinks about selling them for a good profit. So far I haven't sold any of them. 🥴
