I bought Eros and in my head he told me to get it when I was there "super sexy super seductive, **snifffffffffff huge performance huge compliment getter go with the Eros"
This guy really is a legend I recently got really into fragrances and he’s been my inspiration and first and last opinion on all things fragrance related. I wanted to get into purchasing and testing fragrances sooner but Jeremy convinced me too go all in.
Lol I have a relative who really does so...gets up in the middle of night for a piss, washes hands and applies some perfume before going to sleep again!
I get the Sauvage isn't new anymore, but I still love it. It's just one of the best, most distinct fragrances I have smelled. It's just so good! It's not time to retire yet.
@@whatitisnt. I feel you. Lol I once used by Brother's EDP when I ran out of my off brand cologne, it was the first time since I've been wearing perfumes that I got complimented by strangers. Literally from the train, to my job, stores, etc. People were still complimenting me after 16 hours of a double overnight shift. I ran out and bought mine. The price shook me at first, but well worth it.
I've seen it on your lists, yesterday I went out, smelled it(edp), my eyes went wide open, checked the price, my eyes got wider, bought it anyway, now I'm in love. Jeremy, pls don't kill it yet :D
EDP is absolutely worth the price. Literally the only perfume I've been complimented by strangers. I made the mistake of buying EDT, and I'm pissed. Not as strong, doesn't last.
@@SL-pg4dh you just stopped me from buying it, I'm almost out of the EDP, thought about buying EDT just to see how good it is What about elixir? Parfum?
@@Davicc99 I haven't had the pleasure to try Elixir but I've heard good things about it. Parfum is perhaps the best of the 3 between EDT and EDP imo. Stronger, deeper smell, and last longer.
@@Davicc99 don't know if you bought one or tried it at least but it's fair to say the elixir is nothing like the edp or edt. Much more darker and deeper fragrance. It somehow smells has the DNA of sauvage but it's nothing like it. It's much more deeper fragrance, lasts more and I think its more of a hate-love fragrance. Not a blind buy for sure.
@@ogichhh I tried it then I bought it. When I tried the sample I liked it, but when the bottle arrived I wasn't sure anymore. Turns out I used a little bit too much, 4+ sprays and it was overwhelming, it was unpleasant, I stopped wearing it for a while, a few weeks later I tried it again but spraying less, 1-2 sprays, with fewer sprays it was perfect, that's when I realized I underestimated the strength of this fragrance. So yeah, don't overdo it guys. It is strong. But it is nice, and as you said definitely not a blind buy it's a different fragrance with the sauvage DNA somewhere in there. Hate-love, even for me sometimes :D
Sauvage EDT opens up a bit louder - it is more ambroxan/bergamot heavy and has a greater variety of other notes which altogether give it a brighter/ligher, musky quality. The EDP, conversely, balances the Ambroxan/Bergamot with spice; pepper and the addition of nutmeg. The EDP also includes fewer notes in the heart that would otherwise detract its more simple, distinct and slightly spicier character. Whatever amount of anise and vanilla was mixed in is hardly detectable but with fewer other notes, again, helps to create a more distinctive middle and end to the fragrance. I find the EDT better overall especially considering its versatility; it has better sillage and I prefer a lighter muskier quality to a spicier one for warmer weather especially. The EDP trades the ambroxany/bergamot linger for slightly more distinctive, ever so slightly spicier edge. While they are both very good; with one possibly being a better go-to for the evening, I wouldnt bother buying both since they are so similar and both so good. I find the EDT more piquing, versatile and less likely to offend others or cause headaches for myself if I oversprayed.
Sauvage EDT is the best fragrance ever. i am really not a good looking guy, but every week 1 get minimum 1-2 compliments with it WITHOUT asking them how they find my parfum. Did never receive a compliment with any other fragrance ...and yes, i tried them all (D&G The One, Aqua di Gio Profumo, Allure homme eau extrem, Ultramale et cetera) Sauvage EDT just rocks, hope it will never get reformulated.
I'm commenting on this video now after 4 years since Johnny Depp needs our help more than ever. Therefore I just picked up a 200ml bottle of the EDT. Personally I think that the EDT suits me more since im kind of a scary guy and people often don't dare to give me compliments on my perfumes. It has a more sneaky smell and you are not the "loudest" in the room with it. Suits me very very well.
Agreed. Although I'm 'too broke to pay attention' I today picked up a 100ml bottle of Sauvage EDT in support of Johnny :) My go-to for years has been Dior 'Fahrenheit' yet to my nose, Sauvage is even better...
@@x__ace the elixir is really in a different class. I own the edt, edp, and elixir. The elixir is beyond amazing it’s my favorite fragrance there is even better than acqua di gio which was my long time favorite.
Jeremy, completely agree with your analysis. When I smelled your bottle of EDP you had in NYC, I felt it smelled SMOOTHER and more refined than the EDT.. but of course that day it was really cold, so I'm not sure if that has influenced my perception of the EDP because that was the only time I got my nose on it.
Very good review. I agree that they are very similar in terms of categories. The EDP for me, is going to be a legend. You are spot on. I find less and less people wearing it as compared to a couple of years ago. It's my go to for daily wear. Work or play. I appreciate it more as I get older if that makes sense. Keep up the good work man!
Just Google it......As I recall it was just a release date. I definitely don't recall a store that would have it.....I guess the worst would be on the Dior website?
Two EDP that did not work for me: Bleu and Sauvage. When trying them, on the paper both EDP were very fine and rich. As soon as they touch my skin, something goes terribly wrong. The EDT, on the other hand, has something citric that blocks this messy smell. This citric (or alcoholic, I couldn`t tell) element is kinda harsher initially, in comparison, but it really works on me. And saved me from not having two fantastic fragrances.
Totally agree with you Jeremy! Let's not decide who's better, the eau d toilette or the eau de parfum! They are both great fragrances. Let's hope that one of the fragrance houses puts out a "new" Sauvage, something completely new! It's far more interesting for us fragheads. Like the shirt btw Jeremy!
Dammmnnn......one of your greatest videos.....of all time. Hands down! The way you build the suspense.... unintentionally....amazing. Thanks again Jeremy!
I am very excited with EDP! I sampled it today at Sephora and I think it's going to be suitable for me being a bit of an older guy. I notice it lasted a long time on the smelling card.
Since wearing this scent I have increased confidence to the point that I can feel my own radioactive energy signature bouncing off things and coming back to me. I am stronger, fitter and have developed some telekinetic powers. My wife isn't more attracted to me but that's because she knows that 99% of women that now smell me want me so she is trying to be an anticonformist... but I'm gonna give her time to adjust! But seriously this fragrance is amazing, I've never enjoyed smelling myself so much! May the force be with you!
Jeremy you're such a badass man! Dude since my favorite thrash metal band of the 1980's is Slayer and I love their 3rd album the best - your reviews are the Reign in Blood of Cologne reviews and I am such a fan of yours! Keep kicking ass and taking names Jeremy! Thanks for this review stay safe and stay blessed Jeremy
@@papatzis4032 Yeah, you are correct that’s why I switch them around with my paco rabanne and my channel bleu, all 3 work well and I get lots of compliments especially paco rabanne, I tend to use that for parties as some of the fragrances are less used but girls tend to like just as much
@@donerapind186 yeah good choice, Dior is much better in summer times because of the heat but in winter you should prefer a much more intense fragrance
Great video Jeremy! The bad thing about Dior Sauvage is that almost everyone is wearing that now. That and Invictus. Two great scents and it reminds me of time when people only wore either Cool Waters or Farenheit. Hey, would you consider reviewing all of scent-story fragrances again? Including their newer "24"fragrances Elixir Neroli, Elixir Ambrosia, Elixir Azur, and Elixir Platinum.....and of course the classic 24 Gold? With ladies' reaction. It's been awhile (lol).
I didn’t like sauvage before the EDP. I really think the EDP changed my aspect of this fragrance. I bought the EDP Nd received 3 compliments in a hour in a restaurant. The best thing was that the girls were all cute. First time wearing sauvage out to, Guess the hype was real. In my opinion scent wise. I would rate it. Cool spray, EDP Nd edt. In that order.
I’m finally getting Dior sauvage again today after 3 years 😭 i remember it was my dads and I use to wear it without him knowing I just liked it so much but now im getting my own bottle (edit) I just opened the package and I noticed it was soaked in dior sauvage 😢and the bottle was empty and the cap was broken
Do you think it’s worth it to buy for 95 dollars or should I purchase a scent that is newer and more surprising. Which one? You should make a video of the best new men’s dna scents
My Dior addiction is getting insane,I've wanted to try Sauvage for awhile now, great video,so I will and to be totally unoriginal because I'm sleepy, you are a gorgeous man😊😴
I got the EDP today, applied it at about 2pm... and I can still smell it on my skin at midnight, after using a wet facecloth to try to scrub it off lol. Smells nice tho, I dig it. Still not too common here in Canada.
What you fail to say...it don't matter how nice you smell...if you fat no woman wants you and the best way to get women is by looking good..having a good diet and working on yourself..amazing.
You have no audio of your subscriber's meeting with the ladies while in NYC? Thank goodness because I couldn't take one more "I Love You, Jeremy" squeal from one of the NYC male fragrances reviewers. LOL! Anyway, top-notch comparison review between these heavy-hitting panty-droppers. You know, my bottle of Sauvage EDT is down to it's final 10ml...and I'm going to replace it with the EDP in the near future. Why? While I have already loved the EDT, it doesn't receive many compliments these days. Sad, but true! When I started rocking in in 2014 and 2015 the compliments were too numerous to count. Nowadays, I'll receive perhaps a single compliment every two or three wearings. Shame! Conversely, I haven't been rocking Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme too much the past couple years, but I started wearing it recently and the compliments have been through the roof. So what's old is new again. For whatever reason Eau Extreme never, ever received the attention is deserves as a panty-dropper. It is freaking awesome...would love to see you reintroduce this one fo the fragrance community. Cheers!
Patriarchal Lobster Overlord be careful ordering on Amazon...I've seen fakes and Peeled barcodes in the product reviews from distributed by Amazon fragrances
The only fragrance that I wear that's really does draw in compliments. I've tried other fragrances and no one commented on them except when wearing Sauvage.
Why do you promote the edp in one video and then talk up the edt in this one ? Also you did it in Bleu De Chanel you promoted the edp then in another video recommend to buy the edt. Money money money
Haha geil. Wegen dir bin ich auf den Duft aufmerksam geworden. Im Douglas hatten sie das Parfume und Toilette. Auf Google natürlich eingegeben um zu sehen welches besser ist ... und dann kommt dein Video auf Seite 1 :D
