1) The air that enters the bottle oxidizes your perfume (they make them airtight for a reason). 2) The bottle is not a "deluxe model" nor is it worth keeping. 3) Is the Refill bottle collected by the Firm that sold it to you? Special refillable bottles began in 2022 first with the original toilette medium, then EUA DE PARFUM and PARFUM [both medium size and travel sizes]. Large and small bottles are not refillable as of the time of this response. Under the bottle will say " Refillable" in tiny writing. Also turn the silver sprayer base counter clockwise to see if your bottle is refillable.
