Some animation movies years ago used to sculpt the characters with clay and scanned them to make 3D models. Imagine this guy sculpting character for 3D animation horror movies or even games
Pixar did that for Monsters Inc. It was so mesmerizing seeing all those different versions of Mike, Sulley, and even Randall. I wonder if any other studios still do character design that way.
@@deving.2943 in that case these are stop motion movies. I meant when they sculpt a "blank" model in clay, scanned them and transformed them into digital 3D models
@@Cashiertheone I apologize I didn’t mean to be mean everybody has a right to their own opinion it’s just for me the fact that he has voids for eyes and that wide open gaping void of a mouth just freaks me the Frick out butt hay that’s just my opinion I also apologize if that was misconstrued as me being mean to someone because I did not mean it that way at all😅
really cool idea for a catnap sculpture that has more interactivity than a sculpture would be a difuser or an insense holder. that way smoke could billow out of his mouth
Tbh I’d like to see ALL of the Poppy Playtime characters get the “realistic” treatment. Who knows… Catnap may be just the beginning to that actually becoming a reality.
I love the fact that the smoke in the initial drawing resembles the hand of the prototype, it's a great detail, plus it's a video from a creator that I admire and who creates in his own way a creature that haunts me Thank you for your work, it’s been a long time since I saw one of your videos and I missed it🥰
I just finished watching chapter 3, and one of my favorite sculptors make a diorama of what I consider one of the most nightmarish creatures the Playtime Co ever conceived, thanks for you existence Jack, love from Brazil 🇧🇷
This must have taken so long and it’s just so amazing at end. This is sped up so it’s not the real time it took.I love Catnap though so when I saw this I loved it.💜🌙🐈
At first it was a glob of clay that you used *not mean way though* then it became a PERFECTLY AMAZING ART THING it was so fun to see you make it so me can see the steps of the thing! But my most wondering question is: How and where do you get the clay? How do you make art so good? For my my awnser would be: Just try new stuff like clay art, figure making/sculpting and most inportant to know you art is by drawing!
