Me alegro de que los subtitulos funcionen, estoy trabajando muy lentamente en todos ellos, es un trabajo tedioso, ¡pero estoy haciendo lo mejor que puedo!
That was a great video, I had a good laugh over your comments. I have a yellow mandevilla, I want to start some cuttings this fall and put them under grow lights for the winter. Where is part 2, I cannot find it? Did the cuttings send out roots?

I am going to get 'into' cuttings more this year and am considering getting a cutting prop from my usual glasshouse supplies company. It was good watching what you did two years ago... and seeing the results now in your glasshouse. Did you ever find the Rogue Cutting?
Cheers Nicholas - I did actually find it as it happens. It was with all the stuff I'd gathered up to bin. I still ended up with 3 rooted cuttings which are currently growing happily in the cooler side - although they still haven't vined yet, probably due to the cooler temps in winter.

Thanks - that was one of my very first RU-vid videos so I hadn't learned how to 'zoom in' at that point. I'm sure I'll be doing more videos on this plant - a great plant for me so far and putting on a brilliant show just now. You can see more on Mandevilla if you search my channel. Hello from BC, Canada, i need your help/advice re propagating a Mandevilla. It's mid Oct. here, so I brought my Mandevilla in from outside, cut it back & did everything you did in your vid. to propagate it from stem cuttings for more plants. When i make a cutting, i put the cuttings in water so they don't dehydrate. I put rooting powder on the ends & plant them. My cuttings are put under a grow light & watered. All the leaves turn yellow & drop off leaving only the stem. The leaves don't stay green. It's very upsetting & sad. Why is this happening every time i take a cutting from a Mandevilla plant? I await your reply & thank you for your videos!
Difficult to say with only a few details. You don't say what the temperatures are, whether you cover the cutting with a propagator or plastic bag, how many leaves you leave on the cutting, how frequently you're watering it, etc... @@Grow_Up_Man55 Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, i cover the cuttings with a plastic dome. I leave only a couple of leaves on the stem cuttings. I water the cuttings after i plant them. I will read & listen to the link you have provided, hopefully i will be rewarded with some or all of the cuttings rooting & will make me ecstatic! I won't give up, the reward of seeing my cuttings root will be well worth the frustration! 🥴
@@Grow_Up_Man55 I have watched & saved the vid. you provided over a year ago. I follow very carefully your instructions to ensure i get good results from my stem cuttings, unfortunately, i am not having any success, not one of many cuttings have rooted, all the leaves on all the cuttings turn yellow & drop off, leaving only the stem. Do your leaves on a cutting stay green & root for you? I need to know that it is possible! 😟 I just rewatched your vid. & i realize that once i put my cuttings in soil after applying rooting powder, i turn on the grow light or place them near a window. You say to keep the cuttings out of the sun/light which i haven't been doing but will from now on. Does that include grow lights? I assume, YES! I removed the cuttings that were covered with a dome & was near a window & put it under a table in no light but i think i am too late in doing it so will do it next time i take cuttings from my Mandevilla. @@jessiearies1912 Leave the cuttings out of 'DIRECT SUN' - but still in as bright a light as possible. Direct sun through galss will kill most plants - especially rooting cuttings. They NEED light - and lots of it, so maybe that's where you're going wrong, especially if you're putting them into low light conditions.
@@Grow_Up_Man55 Got it! The leafless stems are back up on the table, not underneath it & i will turn on my grow lights around 6:00pm when it gets dark so they will have plenty of light. No direct sun.

All three cuttings rooted and are growing strongly. They don’t really need rooting hormone. But placing them in water first (to stem the sap leakage) will more likely make the powder stick instead of washing it off. My opinion of course. Feel free to follow your own method.
