this version is so much better and heavier, everything about it is amazing, kyo's growls and high pitched screams, toshiya in general and how he spinned with the bass, all of them combined is amazing
The old version (which is this one) is really obscure because of the way the main riff was played. If you observe properly, you can hear the difference between the old intro and new intro. The old one has a 3 note stop while the new one sustains the note. The new one is really meant for headbang style theme
Works well I must say! That riff is really nasty and one of my favorites in all genres of metal! The new version makes it stand out more if you know what I mean.
Hands down my favorite version of Obscure I'm sad I didn't, well more like couldn't, go to this live what can I say I'm shook especially Toshiya's bass spin honestly just so shook❤
This is the best version of Obscure in my opinion. Better than the original recording on Vulgar (I like the deeper growls and the removal of the weird background noises). It is also better than the re-recorded version on lotus as it is heavier, has more energy and I like the clean vocal verses.

They are different the old one is better because of the improv that Kyo did but the new one is better vocally but sadly enough Kyo cant sing it well live
I think Kyo had destroyed his voice with their performances and now he can get that vocals. I think he need to use lower notes or something. But anyways, I love watch their lives ♥
@@gutturalbanshee72 Good luck! I wish to do that too, but it's really complicated. I tried to do it myself once and I hurted my throat A LOT. Hopefully you'll get it really fast.
