This is actually my favorite performance of Obscure since they actually wore the outfits from the music video. And I love how they have the video playing in the background as well.
Absolutely the best live proformance of the song! It sounds alot like it does on the album which is nice the others I've seen alot is cut out or switched up .
Its funny how people think that Dir En Grey aren't as great as they used to be. They are just as popular and skillful as they were back in the Vulgar days, if not, even better than they were. Just because they have changed their style doesn't mean that they aren't incredible in skill and creation of music.
Shame they only performed this version from 2003-2008 when they slightly altered it to sound like the soon to come Lotus version but it still kept the original lyrics and melodies until 2011 when they started playing the Lotus version ever since
You and me both. I was so close to seeing thier tour this year, but no... The open house for the college I want to go to has to be the same freakin day! Next time!
dir en grey makes me want to start a band up finally and play a song at my school..but most people(like 85%) listen to hip-hop and pop..so if i did their heads would explode from listening to something awesome
I hope you made their heads explode, my school was the same and I performed some children of bodom songs, I hadn't discovered Dir En Grey back then unfortunately otherwise I wouldve definitely covered their songs too!
Dir en grey is *insert endless divine praises* past or present. Sheesh dude there is no old them or whatever. They keep evolving and awing the world but they still have their signature patented diru-style, sth no other rock/metal band has.Only thing I have to complain about is sth completely small: Kaoru's hair these days or for the past few years,I just wana chop em off- he reminds me of this disturbing creep that I had the luck to know but whatevs he's god-like and looks better than slash.
@Tekkame I agree with this. I used to really be into A7x and Atreyu. I really only listen to Japanese music now. I just personally like it so much better than American metal. I like the variety that Japanese bands have to offer. For example, I love how Dir en Grey has songs like this and Zan but also have songs like Yokan and Akuro no Oka.
Diru dosent have a complete track playing in the backgrund, so its not like they're lipsynching or something, they just use samples for special sounds thats impossible to do live and so on and so on ; D
@RoxyTheEchidna Korn was my favorite band prior to discovering Japanese rock music. After J-Rock, even my favorite American bands seem somehow lacking an indescribeable x-factor.
We need to enjoy this while we can, Apparently you tube is going back and deleting all of Dir en Grey's video's {or most atleast} due to copyright issues....Thanks You Tube!! As if fans sharing their favorite bands videos affects the bands negatively. If anything it helps them.
@Rosewithoutathorne naw buddy i know theirs the begining dark intro obscure but this one in the live is custom made for the live show i just wish i could find it thanks buddy =]
