One of the most creative and artistic music videos I've ever seen. This is up there with the obscure MV. An incredible music video for an incredible song track.
And when I thought I understood what this song was about, 8:40 happened... and I lost it all. This may perfectly be the best PV of DIR EN GREY. Thanks for sharing!!
Well we see faceless children( loss of identity or roots) Who are depicted in white washed rooms and even at times bubbles( echo chambers and regulated environments that are controlled) They all seem to be harming each other or themselves (as he says its time to bleed the children need to hurt and feel pain to be released from their preconceived prison) After we see the young woman sunset herself after being bullied we cut into a room where all the children are no longer even organized in any sense. they are cutting themselves (after they see what death is they dont know how to cope) We see they are all watching their phones and its only revealed later on what their watching but we notice the teacher is a burned and girzzled veteran of this world as he conducts the class, he passes this prison from his generation onto the kids. The venus fly trap translates this metaphor perfectly. the teacher/professional /expert is the venus fly trap as he traps the children in his bud like flies. towards the end of the video one of the children sprouts flowers suggesting he will be the next expert and conduct the next generation. we realize what all the children are watching is non stop corporate media and messages of violence and war with religious subliminal messaging suggesting that its a cult of professionals that corrupt each generation to the next. the overall narrative seems to be the rules and regulations and the corporate and mononatous environments cage us in, Since the inception of modern war and if you look closely you can see in every religious symbol they are crying tears of blood because this is something they teach in every religion, (almost)it is that this is human nature. We escape violence using violence. Sometimes violence isnt just wars and bullies but the mediums used to proliferate the status quo.
Absolutely amazing. This song and video, for me, is a shout in our faces telling us it isn't just 'out there', it's going on in your backyard right now. Wise up! Additional note: Great music.

(Also another interesting idea portrayed is that the bullied children are eating worms which can have many many meanings but i personally gathered it ment that violence destroys the diet of those around it seems as if the classroom perfectly translates to the state of a war and can be extrapolated to evey part of society as the video seems to convey)
I love this analysis. I think the worm-eating while being bullied thing speaks to me about the internal changes that someone who is bullied or brutalized can take on. Food, like social contact, should be enjoyable and nourishing. But it can be disgusting, demoralizing. Can cause you to take in and internalize that disgust.
@@JamirokyoI do like kaishuns story shit hits hard so does this song being a victim of bullying in middle school but being older now I feel the kaishun reminiscing of your younger days hits me now
