Dire Straits "Telegraph Road" performed by The Classic Rock Show 

What an epic performance. Dire Straits are my all time favourite band and apart from the original artists I cannot think of anyone else who could have pulled this off live. Total repect to the band.

Next to the original, this is the undisputed greatest cover of this song ever attempted!

I am a 74 year 'old git' and sit at my computer playing air guitar to this! I reckon they are the best band I have ever seen! A gem from Howie again!

There are not many cover bands that can do what this band does. They do absolute killer performances. I hope one day to watch them live.

This is one of my favorite songs, ever since I first heard it almost 40 years ago. Listened to it probably thousands of times in my life. I know it in, out, forwards and backwards. These guys KILLED on it! Absolutely amazing rendition.

This guitarplayer is something else, he can play anything , Amazing good!! He is realy playing with his thumb like Mark, wow he goes all the way Respect!!

I saw Dire Straits back in the day in the 80s Brother's in Arms tour. One of my favorite band. This is outstanding!

Just like first time i heard in vinyl , i was in love with this song from first time , Damn so many years ago, all these menber of classic rock show , play all the favorits number we know spot on , and best of all , so so close to the original . When all this covid-19 are historie , i as first buy a ticket to these guys, they are something special and talented, Big respect from Denmark for your Music ears👍original , Damn , so good , dont you all agree👍😘

Im gonna get some flak here but I’m just gonna say what I know in my heart to be true so here it is. I have seen Dire straits live do this song and this by far is better than what I saw them do. So there I’ve said it and i am a major M.K/Dire Straits fan.

I have only just discovered this band in the last couple of days, these are amazing covers. Howie G can certainly play, any style you like, but I am amazed that no one is mentioning what a great job the drummer is doing on all of these tracks.

This guitarist is awesome, I never thought anyone could come close to Mr knopfler!! Superb!! And it's brilliant to hear another voice sing these lyrics, it gives it a different take ,just goes to show how many people are influenced by the great MK!!

That is as good as a Dire Straits cover as you'll get. Great on the guitar and special mention to the keyboard player also!

Absolutely amazing performance from the guitarist, but much respect to the drummer (and everyone else, of course). He absolutely killed it on this. Pay close attention around 9:15 but most definitely when the double-time kicks in at the 10:00 mark through the rest of the song.

Why cant people just refrain from mentioning its not like the original? But holy heck the musicianship the synthesis is LEGENDARY this is an awesome band everyone is so talented.. we are truly blessed to hear them.

I saw the Classic Rock Show at The Eastbourne Congress last night. It was absolutely brilliant and I would definitely go and see them again.

So impressive to see Howie play this with Knopfler's right hand style. That's dedication to making the perfect sound.

I am old git, and for some reason I didn't pick this up as a song to listen to when I was younger, I think raising young kids kind of got in the road. But so good is this group and the rendition (like all of their music) I have gone back and watched some original Dire Straits clips. Would love to see these guys in concert!

We don't have to talk about the technical standard, it's at the top. But sometimes perfection almost borders on imitation. Because at such a high level, the space that the original leaves for your own creativity becomes very, very narrow. But I have never seen this room used so brilliantly before.

Superb musicianship on show here with arguably Dire Straits most complex track. Besides Howie G all respect to the pianist. Telegraph Road has been a favourite of mine since I first heard it in 1984.

Absolutely nailed every tone, piano sound, synth sound, drum hit Etc. I doubt Dire Straits could do that!

What a great song, kind of an unusual choice for a show that’s more about best loved hits than deep album tracks. Sounds great, that guitar player nailed the tone and every note and nuance.

Amazing cover band. Great to see true musicianship still exists amongst todays dreary artistes like Sheeran, Capaldi and near naked gimmicks of Little Mix, Ora et al. These people are so talented and diverse in their musical genre.

Saw this band right from the start at the sage many years ago they went from strength to strength think Howie is the long standing member ,it takes a special group of musicians to pull this tune off note perfect,What an awesome band

Entire band is on point. Great all around guitar player......playing in the style of Mark Knopfler with the flawless right hand technique. I would pay much more money to see these guys play than the garbage thats out there now.
